Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party~~October 19

This is so frustrating!!! There are so many costumes that require masks!! My husband is going as batman (I hope  ), which obviously needs a mask. I am so upset about this, we actaully bought tickets to 2 parties to good use out of our costumes, that we spent ALOT of money on!!!!
I also called disney and asked, the guy on the phone said adults could wear costumes and acted like I was insane for asking  !!!
I guess we will keep our fingers crossed!!

I am very upset about possibly not being able to dress-up. It took me awhile to even convice my husband to get a costume at all. Then of course I said we had to be Disney characters. He will be Woody, I will be the Queen of Hearts and my daughter will be Cinderella. By the way it will be our first MNSSHP on the 19th. My other worry is it is the same day we are checking in I hope I don't fall asleep at the party!:o

It's ok to dress up as long as your face isn't covered, and besides, nothing is stated on my letter with my tickets stating that they are discouraging adults from dressing up. The disney characters they don't want you dressing up as are those with head masks.....mickey, donald.....anything that completely covers the head and face.

This is great that lots of people are going for their first time. We went about 2 years ago and I loved it!! The fireworks were awlsome. It is the best firework show I have ever seen. What even more fun is riding all the rides at night. I hate that the TC railroad is going to be closed. My daughter loves this ride and I wanted her to ride it in the dark. Everyone that goes for the first time will be addicted. I am.

Celebrating DD birthday while in WDW. We got our tickets for the 19th. How many adults are wearing costumes?

my husband and I are dressing as redneck hillbillies. Can't wait...only 15 days until we leave

I'm not wearing a costume .... just a Halloween t-shirt and shorts (or slacks if it's cool that night). I'm not sure what DH is wearing yet .... he's a 'wait til the last minute' kinda guy. DD is dressing up as a princess ... not a Disney princess .... just a generic princess.

Will be attending the Party on the 19th. Third year in a row. We love it!!!! Happy Halloween --------------- and -----------------beware of hitchhiking ghosts!

How many adults are wearing costumes?

Last year I would say about 50% of the adults dressed up, so either way you go, you will fit right in :)

The kids and I will be dressed up w/a PotC/Curse of the Black Pearl theme :) My husband will be Jack Sparrow pirate: for the MNSSHP on the 14th, and I will be his pirate gal that night. I think I will wear the Jack Sparrow pirate: costume on the 19th though as he won't be there. Our daughter (8) will be Elizabeth Swan and our son will be another pirate pirate: both nights. I was going to make him Will Turner, but I think it is more fun to be a pirate :)

Have a great time everyone!!! See you there :)

OK, late trip planned and we will be there, I always look for lime green ribbons and never seem to see any, I will be snowwhite, So if you see me, trust me......I will stand out ....say Hi!!!!

I'll be there dressed in my husbands gear . Arlington Fire Dept shirt and pants . My nephew will be Mickey Mouse dressed like a Fireman . See you there

We, too, will be going on the 19th. We plan to go to MK at 8 a.m., leave around 1:00, go back for some down time. When can we go back? Do we have to wait until 7:00? Can we go earlier? IOf so, when they clear the park, can we stay?

Since we have never been, I need all the pointers I can get. I'm usually the one giving the pointers to friends so I have to reach out now to all of you.

Much appreciated!!!

pigelet, in my past experiences you can not stay in the park between I think 6 to 7 unless you have PS at a restaurant inside of MK. It may be from 5 to 6 not sure. Hope this helps.

My daughter and I will be there also. It's my birthday (now THAT'S scary) and our second year for the Party. It's fabulous - no lines for any of the rides, amazing costumes, breathtaking atmosphere. We're staying at the VWL.
Hope to see you there!
Dawn Hope
