Hi everyone...we'll be there on the 19th. It will be me, DH, DD (6), DS (3 1/2) & DS (15 months), plus my IL's. We're still deciding what to dress as. I would love a theme at least for the kids but my DD hasn't stopped talking about being Britney Spears (big UGH!!!).

We're really looking forward to it, this will be our 1st MNSSHP!!!

kymberly,

If you are planning to use a day's admission that day anyway, the MK is probably a good place to be. But if you'd rather save a day's admission (sleep in, go to a water park, etc.,) that day, then you can get into the MK just before the party. (And I think after 4:00 if you have PS for dinner).

Since MNSSHP is a separate ticket event, you wouldn't have to be in the park that day to enjoy the party.

Personally, we're making it a leisure kind of day so we can last until midnight!!

I'll be there with DS, DDIL and 3 grandchildren, first MNSSHP for us, already have our tickets, can'y wait.
See you all there, have to find some lime green ribbon.

Yippee !!! Me, DH and DD (7) are going. DH and I will be Whilma and Fred Flintstone and DD will be a princess.

I have heard so many great things about this party! We can't wait!!!

Ok! I just bought ours! We will be there too!!! Actually we will be there the 19 and the 24th!!!
We were afraid that it was going to be packed on the 24th so we are going the 19th too!!!
We will all be decked out as super hereos, with lime green home depot mickeys attached to our bags!!!
Hope to see you there!

We have had our tickets for awhile now , but my friend who is going with me said that we cant dress up . She said it was int he letter that came with the tickets . Does anyone elses say that ?

Mad4mickey..
I just saw that listed on another thread and I actually had thread about it too. I was freaking out as we have spent alot of money on our costumes!!
The back of the tickets is a bit misleading.. I guess the word is. But the official site does not specify who can dress up and who cant.
Heres hoping, that they dont turn us away at the doors!!!!

this is kind of worrying me - why would they have the mnsshp and not allow guests who paid for this event to dress in costume? is there a board with employees where we can post a question? i am looking forward to seeing all the costumes!

Well, I just got back from shopping and it is official.....my husband and I are going as hillbilly rednecks. So, if any of you see a not so purty momma in a housedress and her hubby with funky teeth, be sure to say "hi-y'all". Countin down the days....

I called Disney and they said that it is "preferred " that adults not dress up .

I guess I wont be dressing up .I dont want to be asked to leave, I really dont know what they would say if we did dress up .

Wishing everyone a tagged night

After reading the letter that my tickets were attached to, absolutely nothing was listed stating that adults were not to dress up. I called the number on my letter and the gentlleman I spoke with said that he had not heard that adults were discouraged from dressing up. He then put me on hold to check with somebody else; he came back on the phone stating that the only thing that is discouraged is the following:

Not dressing in a costume that would require a mask that would cover up your face. Due to the times we live in, they want to be able to see your face. Another thing that they didn't want was somebody dressing as a Disney Character because they want to be able to tell an actual disney employee from somebody who is dressed like one. But, he said that in order to dress like Mickey Mouse, that would require covering your head and face, and that is what they are discouraging. He was very nice and thanked me because he said he learned something today.

Hope this helps, and I hope that some adults do dress up, because I want to dress up!!!
