Those pictures are AWESOME! I love all the princess costumes. Were all of them custom made, or just yours?

thanks!!!! i made cinderella charming and hamish (except for hat and charmings pants which are skinny jeans) everyone else made theirs, finally08 bought hers and did a ton of alterations

WOW I'm speechless on the princess costumes. You guys look AMAZING. I would kill for the talent and patience to make those! I'm surprised they let you walk around the park, I've heard if costumes are too good and you look too much like the real character, they ask you to change, and you guys look top notch!!

thanks!!!! i started in march. well we were warned like every other minute about autographs and photos with ppl.... but they wouldnt have turned us away... we just had to be more careful :)

Aren't those girls crazy talented? :thumbsup2
I started with a wedding dress that was "inspired" by Giselle's dress and then I spent over a month decorating, adding things (like sleeves and length and 100s of feet of ruffles!), and trying to make it as "Giselle like" as possible. I think I doubled the weight of it with everything I added, lol.
I wadded into a tiny ball to fit it into a small carry on sized suitcase to bring it home...and then all the luggage got rained on at the airport...and I have yet to take it out and look at it. Sorta scared....have nowhere to put it...think it is going to be laid to rest now. :sad1:

"Crazy talented" indeed! I am very creative, but would rather go to the dentist than sew up a costume. That's what my mom is for! :)
I just wish that she would finish it because our trip is tomorrow, and I'm already anxious.

For you Epic Mickey fans out there - Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and his GF Ortensia!

Not too many people knew who we were, but when my daughter brought me the Oswald ear hat back from a gamer's convention, I knew exactly who we were going to be for MNSSHP. Many of the younger CM's knew who we were though and we had a blast!

Oswald was Walt's original character - Disney bought back the rights to Oswald before the Epic Mickey video game was released. :thumbsup2

Oswald and Ortensia helping Buzz eliminate the minions of Zurg!

I'm afraid to go next year!
You guys all have such AMAZING costumes!!

For those who have been, have you ever seen "Tom, Dick or Stanley" ?? Was just reading the Gaston article on the Disney Blog and was thinking that could be a funny/easy costume for 3 dudes.

I went as Katniss from the Hunger Games! It was a modified costume -- Florida is too hot for the leather jacket, long pants, and tall boots, so instead, I wore a green t-shirt, khaki shorts, the braid, and the mockingjay. Rapunzel and Jack Sparrow both commented on my costume :)

I realize half my image is a wall... I just couldn't get the angle right!

Nice pirate gear! :thumbsup2 We have enough pirate gear for a group, too but ugh - the coats are so hot. Kudos to you for wearing yours in FL! :worship:

I'm planning to wear the same "Tinkerbell" Costume. I have been trying to figure out what shoes to wear with it.

I'm not sure if you've found shoes yet, or gone to the party yet, but I am also being Tinkerbell, and I found my shoes at Target. They are houseshoes that look like ballet flats. They are so comfy and were $2.70. They were purple but I spray painted them green. They're not perfect, but they will work!

Here are costumes we put together for Halloween a few years ago. If we go to MNSSHP then this will be what we wear, most likely. I was Hermione and DH was Jack Sparrow. Mine looks thrown together, but I was really happy with his. I think we paid maybe $25 for it, total, and the wig was the biggest part of that. Mine was completely borrowed from friends and my little brother.

I'd rather be Mary Poppins or Belle for the party, but I'm not sure if I can throw either of those costumes together in 2 weeks or not. I might just let him dress up and follow him around like Jack's biggest fan. :)

My daughter was Izzy from Jake and the Neverland Pirates at the 9/25 party.
