Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Central!

Thanks to these wonderful threads I have been able to get tickets to MNSSHP on Halloween night and I have PS for LTT for 5pm. I just realized I have never been to LTT, what type of menu do they have. Is there a link to a menu anywhere? I just cannot wait!!! This will be our first to MNSSHP!!

I'm going on 10/31. Actually we are a group of 12 going that night, and crowded or not-- I can't wait. This has been such a long wait. I can't wait to start reading some trip reports from those that are going at the beginning of the month. I figured Halloween night would sell out, especially with it being a Friday to boot.

As I was ordering my tickets today, I saw that one of the delivery options that Disney gives you is to pick up the tickets at their Will Call.Anyone know where this is located?? We are staying onsite and will be using Disney transportation.

Thanks!!
:)

We were told to pick up our tickets at the Will Call window at the Magic Kingdom anytime from now until the party. I presume it would be the same for you.

I've read about half of these pages, but never found the answer to my question. Is FASTPASS available during this event for those who just go during the night time? Is it needed?

Beatnik- I found the answer to my question:

"Upon arrival at WDW, pick up your will call ticket order at one of the following ticket sales locations: Epcot, Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Disney-MGM Studios or the Ticket and Transportation Center".

Like I said before, we are using Disney transportation and this means that once we arrived at MK we would have to take the monorail back to the Ticket and Transportation Center. We will be literally running around for our tickets :( . I'll take the chance and have the tickets mailed to me  .

I had my tickets mailed, they took about 2 weeks. I also ordered my parents tickets a few days after I ordered mine, and those took about 2 weeks too. That was back in May.

Here is a link to the menu .

I thought I just posted this, but my post doesn't appear, so I'll submit this again. If it turns out it is a duplicate, sorry.

How warm will MNSSHP be in early Oct? DH is trying to decide on a costume and came up with something that requires denim overalls. Will he die of the heat? We are used to northern New England cooler weather and we usually are very warm while in FL (except a couple times in March when we wore winter jackets :) ) Should he be thinking of something that involves shorts instead?

I just found out that my husnabd is having a meeting in Orlando on 10/25.
I would like to bring our DD7.
Hopefully the rest of the family at the meeting will join us (about 20 people age 2-80).

Which night would your recomend and why?

Thanks so much for all the help!
Jeannie

We'll be there Oct 1-8, and attending MNSSHP on 10/3, so it's a concern to us as well.

According to Weather.com, here's some average info for the first week of October:
Average High: 86-87
Average Low: 67-68
Mean: 77-78

Since the lows usually happen in early morning, figure on no colder that 70-75 degrees during MNSSHP. How will your DH handle 5-6 hours in denim overalls while doing a lot of walking and riding? I'd be dripping, but that's TMI....

Ooh! Ooh! :Pinkbounc I'll be there the 1-8th, too! I'll wave as the monorail goes by the poly!

bali,

Did you know that there is a MNSSHP DIS Meet on 10/3? We're up to about 30 people - we'll be at the Haunted Mansion at 7:30 for chat, pictures and a ride on the HM!

Here's the thread for more info - hope you can make it!

To JeannieNM:

I would think Sun. would be a better bet. We HAVE to go on a Fri. due to flight schedules - have to be back home for school/work Monday morning  I would bet lots of other folks do too!

If I want to pick them up on a non-park day, do I have to pay for parking to get them?

Do kids need to bring their own bag for collecting treats or does DIsney supply one?

Your child will receive a trick or treat bag when they enter the park. Have fun.

When we went Halloween night, we all got Trick or Treat bags; adults and children!!!:teeth:

Dr. Tom -- Thanks for the invite! Unfortunately, I'm booked for MNSSHP on the 5th. I hope you guys have a fantastic time, though! Be sure to take spooky pictures.

In response to the trick or treat bag quandry, I was hoping the adults would get bags too...:(
