Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Central!

Hi. We are now booked into the CBR from 26th October to 1st November!

I was wondering if the Resort busses would still be running after the MNSSHP from the Magic Kingdom?

If they are not running then how would we get back? (we won't have a car)

Another question: If we want to stay in the park from 6-7 before the party starts do we need to have a PS for anywhere, or can we just wonder around? If we got there at about 5.40 would we be alloud to stay in. If we got there after 6 would we have to wait until 7?

Thanks.

Yes the buses to the resorts will be running after MNSSHP.You'll be able to get back to CBR no problem.

I'm going to have to call and see about the whole PS and MNSSHP ticket thing.I'm not sure if you have to have a regular ticket to make a PS before 6pm or not. We've always gotten there a little before 6pm and soon after we were let in.

I'l let you know soon as I find out!

I hope that the bus service turns it up a notch because I went in 2001 and half of my party left half an hour before I did (they were tired) and we ended up being on the same bus as them (we stayed until we got told to leave)! One question though...do they have the boats going to the resorts after the party ends? (the ones that take you to your resort) Thanks for your help! MNSSHP rocks! I love the decorating...must take a lot of work to get it so perfect...

about the PS (dont take my word on this, I am not sure)...I think if you show them your MNSSHP ticket they'll let you eat then...My family wanted to do that so we asked, but we went back to the room to change clothes instead

We're going to use this night like an E-night and leave the kiddos with a fairy godmother (so we can ride the big-kid rides--hurray!)

So this'll be my shoppin' time combined too :)

Can anyone let me know what shops will definitely be opened or closed? I'd appreciate it!

Does anyone know if these are already sold out?? I went online to purchase MVMCP tickets and also to check out tickets for a night in Oct if we end up going at that time- and it shows NO events for Oct or Nov until Nov 30th when MVMCP starts.

So does that mean MNSSHP is already sold out?

Thanks for the shop info, Baloo :)

I've heard that fastpass isn't available, but that there's not much need for it since the lines should be short :)

No, I don't think it is sold out.

Go to Reservations & Tickets. Then Purchase Tickets & Passes. After selecting the country you will be taken to a screen where you can choose tickets for Special Events. When you click on MNSSHP it will take you to a list of all dates available. Let me know if you need any help finding them and I'll try to help you.

Okay let me try it that way. The way I was doing it was putting in the dates and it didn't show anything for the dates that I know MNSSHP was going on- but when I did it for the dates during MVMCP it showed all the dates for that for me to choose which ones I wanted to buy. Not sure why it did like that. I'll go try that way you described- thanks!

Does anyone know if the boat to WL will be running after MNSSHP?
We got tickets for October 10th which is a Firday night. Will it be more crowded? This will be our first time to MNSSHP. We can't Wait!:bounce:

BibbidyBobbidyBoo - did you find your tickets? After thinking about it this morning I don't know why I just didn't post a link.

We will be there on Oct. 26. Time is passing way to slow, i am just so ready to be there. This will be our first mnsshp.

We will be there on Oct 26th as well-and it's our first time also.I have a question though..Has anyone been to the AP passholders pre-party-and where and when is it held-any other info would be appreciated.Thanks.Sue

Is the rest of the MK park (including rides) open during the Halloween party from 7pm - 12am? If yes, it seems like we could get quite a few good hours in the park besides doing all the Halloween stuff.

Okay - I found the rest of the replies and see that the rides are open during the party, this is good. Forgive me, I am a first timer to this sight and WDW.

Now I have a dilemma. We arrive at the airport at 3:00 on 10-30. Should we try to do the party that night (if tickets are still available) or is that not enough time to get from the airport, check in and get to MK by about 7:00pm?

Otherwise, we had planned on AK on 10-31 and have dinner reservations at Rain Forest Cafe at 6:00....but, I don't think we could go to the party after that. How long does AK take? Could we do AK and dinner that day and the party that night? We are only there from 10-30 to 11-5(morning) and want to do all 4 parks.

Please help, my head is spinning with plans.

rvrkids: You could go to party on the day you arrive. If your flight is on time (?) you could be at your resort by 4:00. It takes about 1/2 hr. from MCO to Disney. It will depend on how long it takes to get luggage, whether you are taking the shuttle or a town car, renting a car, etc. It's do-able. Do you think you would be exhausted from traveling? It doesn't say where you are traveling from.

AK usually closes around 5. You could do AK and the party but I wouldn't keep my 6:00 RFC dinner ressie because you wouldn't get to MK until probably 8:00 and you will have lost an hour of the party. Would you be willing to eat at RFC for lunch instead? Or you could visit the one at Downtown Disney another night or drive/take Disney transportation over to the AK to eat there another night. You can enter the RFC without having to have park admission.

Simba2 - Thanks for the info. I don't think we'll be worn out from travelling. We're coming from No. KY and it's only a 2 hour flight. We will have a town car waiting for us. We will probably make a quick stop to pick up a few things but still think we can make it.

Appreciate all the info.

DH and I are attending MNSSHP on 10/30 (a first for both of us), and I'd like to know from you veterans what attractions are "do not miss" on that night.
We're arriving on 10/26 and leaving on 11/2, so we'll have time to visit the MK other than on party night. Should we avoid the MK entirely that day of the party? Do you think it would be too much to be there in the AM and then return around 4 for the party?
