If the park opens at 8AM does that mean we can get there at 7AM for this or is that just meaning the toontown is open at 8AM instead of 9AM?

Yes, it means that if the park opening is at 8 a.m., Toon Town is open at 8 a.m. They won't start the festivities until around 20-25 after the hour, so everybody has a chance to get back there.

Normally Toon Town opens one hour after the rest of the park. So the rest of the yahoos who don't have the special tickets for MTTMM will have to wait to get in till 9 a.m.

If you are using it on an EE and the park opens at 8:00, you can enter at 7:00 for Fantasyland and then get into TTMM at 8:00. The rides start right away but the little ceremony begins around 15- 20 minutes later like avalon said

Yep-- That said, the only day MTTMM and Magic Mornings coincide are on Saturdays.

Magic Mornings are Tues, Thurs, Sat. and Sun.

MTTMM are on Mon, Wed, Fri and Sat.

If you are going to MTTMM, I would highly recommend using the through the shops shortcut down to the photo store to be near the front of the pack AND then book it back to TT. The ceremony won't start until about 20 after the hour, but the character greetings that you can do in that first 10-15 minutes are priceless! We met the entire Fab 5 plus chip 'n dale with NO wait. This is what makes MTTMM a special time, not the little ceremony (which is cute, but nothing special).
