**Mickey's Merry Cruisers** 12/13/09 4 night Wonder

Hi Kathryn, I believe you have to sign up for Martini tasting as there's a certain limit and also a charge involved. If many people are interested in meeting at that time it would be hard for everyone to do so.

Michelle, I'm sure there are several more at late seating. You might want to try looking at previous posts or hopefully everyone will post what seating they have and make it easier for everyone. ;)

We're all anxious to meet up and see who's dining with whom. :grouphug:

C'mon folks, we're only 20 days away and getting nowhere fast regarding responses. There's only a few of us posting :sad2: what's going on? ? ? ? ?

Hello, anyone else here? ? ? pirate: ARGH!!!!!

Kathryn,
I am all about that martini tasting! I was just reading some posts about it last night and told DH that I am already there!!! So, even if the group doesn't meet at the tasting, I could possibly see you (and anyone else that is able to go) there. I am planning on signing up for that the minute my foot hits that boat! DH is not thrilled about going so I may be there totally solo. I had heard that there is a wine tasting too. So many choices, so little time....

We are on the early seating but not sure we will be going to the dining room at all for dinners this cruise - we haven't decided yet.

This cruise is an R & R cruise so we are going to be sticking to the ship and doing the shipboard activities. If they have the galley tour will probably go on that the kitchens on the ship are amazing. Last year when we went on the cruise before Christmas they had several family Christmas activities so going to try and do those.

Anyone else going to run the 5k at Castaway? Definitely doing that one.

Packing? Way too soon for that. This weekend after Thanksgiving we have to get the camper ready for the post cruise Ft. Wilderness weekend then I'll think about packing.

Looking forward to the cruise and meeting everyone at the DIS meet.:yay:

other than the tree lighting the only Christmas activity is the gingerbread house one.

last year the navigator says to go guest services on embark day to get a ticket because space is limited.

the last night atrium activity is called "til we meet again" and it is usually around 10pm.

the martini tasting is a lot of fun.

all the christmas decorations are up on the ship, the gingerbread house was close to being completed when we got off the ship on sunday. the castaway sandman were not on the island yet, but the some of the decorations were up.

if there are not too many of us, on monday or tuesday night, the group could go to casual dining in Beach Blanket.

this is our annual December cruise. only 19 more days

except for naked boy who swears he is still only wearing a santa hat and a swimsuit now...we are PACKED..hey I'm excited..leave a girl alone...

**Did get some news I wasn't too excited about though...we are staying at POR with Pop Warner the few days before the cruise..now I'm not one to whine about cheerleaders, because I have two myself, but..c'mon...

Oh bless him Becky, at least he's ready for the "Meetup" Party!!!!:dance3::yay::santa:

Anyway, you shouldn't complain, that leaves more room in the suitcase for your "essentials"!!!
:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

all of the tastings require you to pre book at guest services. all the navigator says is nominal fee. ($15 in Apr 09)

based on all the tastings we have done in the past. I would guess the limit would top out at around 40.

the navigator from our 11/19 3 night. had on Nassau day
the beer in Diversions at 2pm
the wine in Palo at 3pm
the martini in the 2nd floor of the new Cove at 5pm

looking at the 8/30 navigators, Nassau had Beer (2:15) and Martini (5:15). Sea Day had all three. At about the same times as the 11/19 cruise. 2:15, 3, and 5:15

I saw a post on packing, who else has gotten up at 8am, packed and then drove to the port? Talk about waiting to the last minute.

Hi Tony

Thanks for that infoxx:worship:

Well have have packed my suitcase today!! - but we do fly out on 9th so im sure that's classed "acceptible"!!:yay:

Poor Beckys little boy has been packed for months!!:cool1:

Hi all

We have put together the 1st suggestion for more "Meets":idea:

Please would you let us know if any of you have any special events on the cruise then maybe we could tie something in (any excuse for a party!!!)
:cheer2::dance3::woohoo::grouphug:

DAY 1

FE Meet and DIS meets as already arranged, if anyone has not yet had these details and would like them, please PM me your e-mail address and I will e-mail them to you.

we thought that people might be a bit weary after such a long day, so only other possible "meet" for the day might be to get together for a "nightcap" later on in the evening say 10pm ish, but somewere child friendly (Suggestions please):woohoo:

DAY 2 - Nassau

(Special events known sofar) - PJB71 Parents 40th (Ruby) Wedding anniversary:hug:

Though it's best not to plan too much in the day for this day as were sure a lot of you have got excursions planned.

2.15pm - Beer tasting in Diversions

5.15pm - Martini tasting Diversions

10.25pm Disney Karaoke in Studio Seas

DAY 3 - Casterway Cay

(Special events known sofar) - PJB71 DD's (Harriet's) 10th Birthday:bday

Notsure how many will be going to the adults only section as apposed to the family beach so

1.30pm Character Dance Party in Gazebo then "Drinks" afterwards in the bar!!

9.30pm Meet on deck 9 in the same location as DIS meet for "Pirates in the Carabean Party"

DAY 4 - Day at Sea

(Special events known sofar - I do no one, but not going to post it without the persons permission!!):cake:

8.30am Breakfast Meetup in Tritons

3pm Wine Tasting in (Palo) - (I want my name going top of the list for this one!!)

9.45pm Lobby atrium for "Till we meet again" then "Farewell" drinks somewere again has to be child friendly

Please would you let me know your thoughts and suggestions on what we have thought of sofar.:headache::headache:

These "Meets" are not compulsary but we just though it would be nice to have things arrange for those who want to be involved!!!

We really need to get this sorted ASAP as people will be starting there "Vacations" as early as next week - no names mentioned "Kathryn"!!!!!:dogdance:(Westgirl)

Mine starts 2weeks today - not like were counting MUCH!!!

Really looking forward to meeting you all soon, and please lets get this sorted asap!!!

no pre book on the tastings

first come first served at guest services.

the tickets have to be charged to each stateroom, so they won't let one person run up charges on another guests account.:thumbsup2

30 for wine tasting is nothing compared to the transatlantic/panama
when the wine guy from Disney's Grand California did special wine tastings
and those filled Animators Palate. They setup a camera and used the screens for the presentation.

i only have 2 cabin # showing on my list florida girl's and tde1969's  are we still doing the fe

Hi Debra

I have got all of the cabin numbers for the FE group, bar one that im still waiting for.:yay:

Rather than giving them to everyone now, as people could possibly change there rooms at port, or forget to bring it, etc etc, I was going to bring the lists with me and hand them out on the "FE Meet" as we thought that that would be easiest option.:confused3

All members that were on the list are still participating, but i'd be happy to send you a list should you want one:love::love:

Are you all packed and ready? Bet your little grandson is getting really excited now.:cheer2::cheer2:

Really looking forward to meeting you very soon.

Lots of love
