Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade To End In June

Avatar-Land isn't here yet. There is no evening entertainment.....Epcot can get away with no parade.... but I'm not so sure about Animal Kingdom Park! Where is the balance here???? Why does it have to be give and take at Disney????? Can't we have it all?:confused3

But then their profits would drop from "grossly obscene" to "slightly less gross and obscene". And we can't have that now, can we?

I feel the same way. The only reason my family and I ever stayed past lunch was to see the parade. There just isn't enough at Animal Kingdom to hold our attention. We loved the parade, though, so we would arrive at Animal Kingdom, do the rides and shows we loved, grab some lunch, and then, since we had done all we cared to, would do some shopping, grab a drink and/or a snack, and just hang out until the parade. I guess this means we will get another half day at one of the parks we enjoy more, but I'm really struggling to understand the logic behind getting rid of such a fun, good parade. :confused3

It's classic TDO logic: let's save money, and to hell with show. This from a resort that has $$$$ coming out of their ears...

What a shame that Disney will cease the Jammin Jungle parade.
It´s such a great parade with so much fun and interaction.

I am angry about their decision.

Please continue the parade and cease the crappy Avatar land idea

Who needs the ugly boring blue rats from Avatar in Disney World ...
definitely not me

I nominate this poster as VP of Planning for Animal Kingdom.

Just adding my 2 cents, my family and I enjoy watching this parade. With that being said, I think it’s time for a change.
The parade feels like it lacks something I am just not sure what.
I so agree. This parade needs a facelift other than the one it gets during the holidays. It was fun but am ready for something new. So now I guess we have more time ride some of the rides there one more time before getting a seat for the parade or getting trapped by the route. According to research I did they had to shut it down due to staging areas being filled up with the Avatar Land construction. The way this park is laid out there really isn't another way to divert a parade until construction is completed.

We didn't get to see it last time, but will make sure to see it this time.

Did I miss the part of the announcement where they said they were giving it a facelift? All I have seen is that it's going away. How does that equate to a facelift?

Just confirming that our tram driver during president's week encouraged everyone to see the parade, saying it would be ending in June. No facelift .... just ending....

Sad. This parade is the jam. I'm glad that I'll get to see it before it 'ends'.
