Do we need regular park tickets on top of event tickets on event day? We have tickets for Halloween party Sept 28. Can we just go to the parks three hours before or is it worth being in the park with reg tix beforehand too? If this question makes sense lol

Your party ticket is enough if you don't want any extra time beyond the actual party + 3 hours early entry. So, if your party starts at 6pm/7pm and you enter at 3pm/4pm, you'll have 8 hours in DL. If you will want more than 8 hours that day, then you will have to buy a regular ticket in addition to your party ticket. If you will want to park hop that day, then you will need a regular parkhopper for that, too, since party tickets are for DL only. Hope that makes sense and answers your question.
