Mickeys Halloween Party

Hi - Can someone please advise if you are visiting Disneyland during a day when there will be a Mickey's Halloween Party that night, are you allowed to stay for that night at no additional cost or do you need to purchase an additional ticket for the event - thanks

They clear the parks of regular guests and only those with tickets to the Halloween Party will be allowed in after a certain time.

Ticket holders for the Halloween party are allowed into the park a few hours before the party. Upon entry they are given a wristband so CM's know that they purchased tickets for the party. If you have tickets and are already in the park, you can get a wristband inside the park. After 7:00 PM, you must show your wristband to shop, ride rides, etc. If you don't have a wristband, you are told you can purchase a ticket and stay, or you are asked to leave the park.

I may be going to Disneyland for a conference during this time. Never been before. If a party is going on, and you don't have tickets, can you still go into California Adventure, or does that park get cleared out as well?

The party is only in DL so it affects DCA in two ways. Last year they kept it open later, and it was more crowded than comparable nights without the party.
