Searching for info about MNSSHP. I have never been, and just heard that our late September dates will probably fall within the time that it occurs. My group travelling are a group of 5 adults, there for a reunion of our days on the college program! Many MANY years ago! lol. We were one of the very first groups. In any case, is it expensive? Is it something that an adults only group would enjoy, or more for children? What kind of first hand info can you all provide me with? Not just what the tour books say? Thanks so much! Love these boards!

My husband and I attended just the two of us last year and had a BLAST!! SO WORTH the money and it's one of my favorite memories with hubs at Disney-we dressed up and trick or treated and everything!

We went to the one at DL at the end of September last year and had a blast. We bought tickets for the event and went in at 3 (it was a 6 pm start day, and you get to get in 3 hours early with your ticket), so the price wasn't terrible as we just used it as our day in the park. We had our young kids, but there were more people there without kids than with. If there are certain characters you want to meet that are rare (like Jack and Sally), be prepared to wait in line. We didn't bother really trick or treating, even though most families with small kids did that, we chose to go on rides and see some of the fun shows and meet characters. If we were to go again, we would have went at the beginning of our trip, rather than our last day there because we were exhausted, but it was very fun for a most likely once in a lifetime event for our family, although we would love to go back and meet more villian characters!

We are all adults and we have been doing parties over ten years, for many years twice a year. We find that the parties have as many or more adults than kids. MANY adults dress up. It's fun, the park actually looks different from lighting and smoke and music. There are some cool characters, photo ops and some candy. The Castlefront show is awesome and one of the best fireworks. Totally would do it, be a great memory for you all!

Thank you so much for your thoughts. I am hoping the friends I am going with are interested in going. It's one of the things I haven't done on property so I'm excited!!!
