Yikes.. that would be horrible.. so far for me that has not happened.. that why I asked.. not trying to dis anyone.. just was wondering if you cant do heights or the movement , then why chance it.. but I guess you really never know until you do chance it , yes?
Because it's rotten to be at a themepark with all the cool rides, and your family and all that, and not ride things because of fear.
Disney keeps their rides pretty darned safe, and so you know that you're very unlikely be actually be harmed by one of their rides. If you're going to try it, might as well be at Disney. I'm afraid of falling, but on a Disney ride the chance of that is low. So...you take a chance.
I'm not the hugest fan of coasters anymore (you would never guess I grew up going to then-Marriott's Great America in the San Jose area and would ride The Demon and Willard's Whizzer alllllll the time) but I go on them because I hate being a chicken. And weirdly, last time we were at Universal Orlando, I rode the Hulk again (DS could go on the big rides alone, but that makes me sad, and DH can't ride them yet, so I go with him) and *almost* liked it this time. This is a far cry from the "we're going to die" thoughts going through my head on it the last 3 times.... There's hope for me yet!
Other rides...sometimes they make me sick, sometimes they don't. Again with Universal...if I'm hungry or I JUST ate or I am dehydrated, Forbidden Journey turns me absolutely green, and I'm ruined for hours. If I'm properly fed and watered, however, it's basically OK.
Just my experiences. : )
