What is it like, and is it worth it?

My friend and I are making a quick trip to WDW 12/15-12/18. We have never been there for the holidays. We will arrive early Friday afternoon and leave early Monday afternoon. The only party scheduled during our visit is Friday night. What are your thoughts?

Have only done MNNSHP and am doing MVMCP this year b/c the former was so fabulous!!

i think it's worth it if you want to see extra/special characters that you don't normally see. there is 'snow' on main street and they give out cookies and hot cocoa which is neat. i wasn't 'wowed' by the fireworks like i am with the ones at mnsshp but it's a fun time and the crowds aren't terrible.

Suggestion try the Yuletide Fanatasy Tour. The xmas party was alright.

DW and I are going the first week of Dec. and this will be the third time for attending the party. There are special fireworks, special holiday parade, along with special shows just for the party. It is very much worth ($) going, you will have a blast. Don't miss it.
