I'm taking my will be 5-year old son for his birthday. Between the two, does anyone have any suggestions on which one would be more engaging for him? We are going in June if that is helpful to know.

On our 1st trip in 2006 my daughter was 5 and she loved it. She did make a comment about how they talked like her mamaw (I am from the deep south).

I have very vivid memories of my ds with that spoon and the washing board.. eating the ribs and laughing and smiling!

My 19 yo still talks about his first time at HDDR when he was 5.

I'll be crushed if it closes. It's something like the longest running dinner show in the country. And it's booked solid. And people love it. Do something with the luau, please.
