Hey!!! We are planning on going to Mickey's BBQ and we have the dining plan. Would it be worth it to pay out of pocket for Category 1 or should we just use the double credit dining plan route with Category 2? It'll be myself, hubby, in laws and our 3.5 year old :) TIA!

Not with it. The whole point is to get up and dance so by the end of evening, nobody stays at their assigned seat. The characters also mingle inbetween the tables to get people stand up to dance. It's like a dance party instead of concert show.

Thank you! I have no idea of what to expect other than what I have read online :)

Yes, you must initiate contact with the characters. There is very little "sitting in your seat watching" kind of thing. It is also very geared towards smaller kids under 10 I would say. We took my nephew who was 12 and he felt very out of place. The adults had more fun I think than he did. LOL

It sounds like my daughter will have a blast! She LOVES Minnie & Mickey and she is going to be 3.5 when we go : ) Going to give it a shot : )
