We did the BBQ several years ago and found it enjoyable.
1st off having grown up in Kansas City the home of the (undisputed) best BBQ in the world, we knew better than to expect too much from the food.
We found it to be plentiful but the usual buffet fare.
The show was really just a country style band leading the crowd in line dancing and singing and characters singing and goofing with guests etc... Not really a show but just entertainment.
The character experience was fine.....just line up and wait your turn for pictures, autographs, etc... with the characters.
The seating was rectangular picnic tables with bench seats.....and not assigned just go where you will.
All in all we were okay with having done it but would not do it again for ourselves....now if we were traveling with some friends new to the parks and wanted something like it we might go back.
I would probably choose it over the Hoop De Doo which I found to be extremely overpriced and seriously overrated.
But before all the HDD fans get all freaked out that is just my opinion and realize we're in the minority.
