Mickey's Backyard BBQ question

Hi all,
I have a question about the dates for Mickey Backyard BBQ. It says that it's seasonal, and it's Thursdays and Saturdays March through December. Our trip is the end of February, very beginning of March. So.... do you think that the very first Thursday in March will be the start for the season? I'm assuming so... but you know what happens when you assume!

If we don't go to the BBQ, then I will be planning La Nouba. I think my 5 year old will love the BBQ, though. Any thoughts? We did HDDR last time and it was great fun, but not as interactive as BBQ sounds. And obviously BBQ is cheaper than La Nouba... every little bit helps!

If anyone has gone to BBQ in March, can you let me
know what to expect weather-wise? How chilly might it be in the evening?

Also, do you think there's ANY issue with attending a seasonal event on its very first night back in action?

AND... one more question... if not BBQ... any other great suggestions? We will have been at DTD that day. Eating at T-Rex for lunch (for my son) and playing lego's etc.. We will be off-property, out of pocket.
