Mickey's Backyard Barb-b-q not a dinner show?

Yesterday we tried to book Mickey's Backyard Bar-b-que - its less then 365 days away-wanted May 17th. Couldn't do it because it was too soon - we are visiting WDW in May 2007. Everything I read says we can book 1 yr in advance for dinner shows. We were told this was seasonal and it was too early to book. We could book the other dinner shows if we wanted. We were told to try back this summer and then she said December.

Thought this was strange. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks.

I read somewhere - can't for the life of me remember right now - that Mickey's Backyard BBQ & even Hoop Dee Do Revue would be going to 180 days beginning in Jan. 2007. Anyone else see this somewhere?

yup, rule change.
you can book anything at this point up until December 31st. Dates on and after January 1st, 2007 will be booked 180 days in advance, like other ADR's.
This goes for the Luau too.
