Oh, my! I am back in full force after an almost month and a half long hiatus! Geez! Stupid holidays and my lack of ability to say no to all my favorite holiday foods! That and the end of the semester for me both as teacher AND student...moving into a new apartment with my sister...and assorted other holiday stresses contributed to my lack of focus on healthy eating and exercise.
Don't get me wrong, I didn't just throw in the towel completely...I tried...and tried so hard to stay ontrack and to get back ontrack whenever I fell off, but just couldn't do it...didn't have it in me, I guess, until yesterday, but I feel 150% committed again. I'm not sure how much of a weight gain I suffered as of yet, but we'll see come Saturday when I weigh myself again. Eeeek!
So, after getting to see my gorgeous girlfriend for the first time in A YEAR back in November, I'm feeling more in love than ever and we're hoping she'll be able to come down to visit for a couple of days in February (and I'm also working on getting her on my bandwagon of having her move down here!) and then in March, I'm driving up to Mass. during my spring break to get all my gazillions of boxes of books that she's currently storing for me in her dad's house...and then in April, I will meeting up with here in Vegas (again!) for a couple of days....
Then comes August......and our big trip to WDW which I will be booking later this month! So, that said, if I want to be able to fit my **** onto any of the rides, I have no choice but to continue staying focused and healthy and shedding these miserable pounds! I'm so tempted to reveal, at last, my actual weight, but will merely say that I have about 15 lbs to lose (unless I've gained back a lot more weight than I thought) before I hit a major landmark weight that I haven't been in about 2 or 3 years....so, that will be what I need to focus on for now. Meanwhile, I go back to work on Thursday and my kiddies come back to me at school on Monday. Just one blessed day of vacation left!
