Mickey watch: where to buy?

My DS just learned to tell time, and I have promised him his very own mickey watch. I could probably buy one cheaper at home, but we leave in 22 days ( ) and it would be more fun for him to pick one out in WDW. Where do they sell them, and is there a range of quality/prices? What can I expect to pay? I don't want to buy him a cheap junky watch, but he doesn't need a collector's piece, you know? Thanks!

We were on a quest for watches last year - they are EVERYWHERE! We eneded up with some decent kid watches from the Contemporary gift shop, but we found watches at more stores than I could name here. Lots in the parks, DTD, and resorts.

I buy a watch each trip that I go on. I find they have the largest selection at World of Disney in DTD. Children's watches are found on rotating "rounds" they are in plastic cases with every character imaginable. Something fun might be to start sifting thru all the popular Disney characters, pick one, say Alice in Wonderland's Cheshire Cat or Donald Duck and then look at only those watches. World of Disney will pretty much carry everything you have found in other gift shops around the "Word". If you find a watch you like at say "muppets gift shop" but aren't sure you are ready to purchase, go to WoD, I bet you will see that watch there and lots more- it's the best place for comparing.

If you simply want a Walt Disney World watch but don't have a trip for a while you can call Disney, describe what you would like and they will ship it to you- shipping does take a LOOOOONG time. At least 4 or more weeks.

Also, at World of Disney you can get a discount, for AP, I think DVC, maybe Disney Visa. I am sure AP gets one.

Thank you for reminding me about the possible Disney Visa discount. We have one. And thanks for the ideas! We'll be at the Contemporary our first day, so maybe I'll let him look there then buy at WoD later. Any idea what I'll spend for a moderate kids' watch?

I bought a watch in a shop on Main Street.
It was on the right hand side as you came into the park.

The selection wasn't as great as I would have liked, but...

I BOUGHT A MICKEY MOUSE WATCH IN THE MAGIC KINGDOM!!!!

That's exactly what I wanted to do.
