Mickey Waffles?

Hello! Does anyone know where I can find a list of restaurants that serve Mickey Waffles, the little ones that are Mickey's face and ears, not the big ones? I fell in love with them the last time we went to WDW, and I'm trying to figure out where to get them at a park, resort, or DTD that will fit in best with our plans. TIA!

I am pretty sure all of the breakfast buffets/all you care to eat venues have them-'Ohana, Tusker, Crystal Palace, Cape May, Chef Mickey's, Hollywood & Vine, plus Captain's Grille, Whispering Canyon, 1900 Park Fare, Grand Floridian Café. And then there is always room service depending on where you are staying.

I think you will find that most of the QS at resorts have the mini mickey waffles on their kids menus. I know I have seen them at most of these locations.

Hi - DS chooses our resort based on whether the food court has Mickey waffles! Only listing the info we learned last week because it changed even since a few months ago at certain resorts:

As of mid-February 2015:

NO Mickey waffles: Pop Century; Art of Animation. (Both Pop and AoA have resort-specific themed waffles (which I think is so cool); all are small size now (the large Pop waffle is gone as of 1/2015; adult portion gets an extra waffle.) Pop will put whipped cream on your waffles (because the waffle area shares with the ice cream area).

HAVE Mickey waffles: All Star Movies CS; The Contempo Cafe (CS at CR); The Wave (non-character TS at CR); Chef Mickeys, Tusker House, Hollywood & Vine.

I can't believe I don't remember, but I do have a dim memory that Contempo had not only the small sized Mickey waffles for kid meal, but also the large ones for adult breakfast. But don't rely on me for that. Aforementioned character meals and The Wave only have the small sized ones. Not sure if ASMo has large (they do have small).

We stayed at POR, POFQ 1.5 and 2 years ago, and they both had mickey waffles back then. Hoping someone else can let us know - I want to stay at POR in April, but DS wants ASMo (for certainty of Mickey waffles!).

PS I know the price is high ($41 plus tip for an adult), but if you love the small Mickey waffles you might have to get to Chef Mickey's. They make them right in front of you (take the ones in back): they are crisp, hot and amazing. Food courts take so long to get from where you stand in line to order, through the line to pay, to sitting down, they are just lose the crisp edges by then. That said, I bet The Wave would make them fresh for you if you mentioned you're an aficionado (their buffet is $21 adult, and includes sweet potato pancakes - and is SO much quieter than Chef Mickey's).

I can't believe I have this much info about waffles at WDW!

The food courts at CSR, CBR, and POR all had them when I've been there. CBR was as recent as November, CSR and POR in 2013.

FYI: Not the same, but there is a waffle maker out that makes the mini Mickey waffles. I wish I had seen it earlier since I bought my sister the large Minnie waffle maker. This is great if you are someone that has your own good waffle recipe.

Never mind: The first picture I saw of these showed the Mickey faces from the parks, but that was the wrong photo. These are basically just shaped like the head, no face.

Gasparilla Island Gril at GF has the small Mickey waffles.

It looks like Roaring Fork at WL also has Mickey waffles. I had to check since we will be staying at FW and my daughter and I MUST have the gluten free Mickeys on each trip. The Mara at AKL also has them. Less than 40 days to go for me...

Most resort foodcourts have both the big and small ones, while a few do not. Beach Club Marketplace does not serve mickey waffles. WL has the small ones at Roaring Fork. POR and POFQ both have them at their foodcourts. All of the breakfast buffets/all-you-care-to-enjoy do have the small ones. Akershus has them, they are not on the menu but if you ask they will bring a plate of small ones out with no problems. The Grand Floridian Cafe has both the big and small ones. I don't think Kona Cafe does, at least it is not listed on their menu.

You guys are amazing! Thank you so much! My mouth is watering just reading replies! I feel like those waffles are full of delicious Disney magic. I don't care if I have to buy two seats for the plane ride back, I'm gonna eat my weight in these waffles!!

Roaring Forks has the small Mickey waffles plain, with chocolate sauce and chips, with strawberries and whipped creme, and bananas foster. Fresh too because you order then go pay then pick up your food or wait for it to be delivered to your table or for your beeper to go off signaling it is ready for pick up (I think the procedure depends on how busy it is). We stop for breakfast a lot on our way to Magic Kingdom!

Wow. That all sounds amazing! I only had it with syrup, and I thought it was great.

Secondary question, when do QS locations stop serving them and do they usually run out by a certain time?
I believe breakfast lasts until 11am at most, if not all QS locations in the resorts. So it is not a matter of running out since they are made to order. As long as you have breakfast by 11am you are good to go!
