Mickey Toaster at BW General Store...

....anyone else have it? Is the fact that I justified it's purchase as an early Fathers Day gift (bought in Feb.) from my daughter a sign that I've crossed the line into insane Disney obsession? Excuse me while I make some toast...

I don't but my niece does ... I also bought her the waffle maker. And last week at DTD I noticed that they also have a sandwhich maker now. You can also get a nifty little gadget that will form your eggs in the shape of Mickey.

... just trying to add to your obsession!

We had a 4 slice Mickey toaster for a bit. Half of it stopped working after a couple months. We just gave it to our church to sell at it's yard sale next month.

Yep- it plays the Mickey Mouse Club theme when the toasts pops (you can turn off the music if you want). The coolest thing is that it burns an image of Mickey into each slice of toast. Fantastically hokey.

I'm pretty sure I saw one at the VWL gift shop also, so I think they are widely available at WDW. Don't know about offsite. I'd Google it.

We have the old fashioned toaster I guess then...ours plays Its A Small World. Some mornings when I am really missing being in Disney I just let it just play on out other mornings well...I just pull the plug! (I dont pull the plug very often) Enjoy your toast!

Now THAT is funny! I'm thinking in terms of using it as a generic greeting, or catchphrase if you will. E.G. When the cashier at local store says the obligatory "Have a nice day", come back with "Enjoy your toast!" Or at the end of a business oriented phone call, "Enjoy your toast!". Or muttered under your breath as a stranger passes you in the mall- "Enjoy your toast". High comedy value - thanks!

I have the 2 slice Mickey toaster. It was given to me by my daughter last Christmas. She said she purchased it online through Target. My dh thinks it is a bit hokey, but the grandkids love having Mickey on their toast.
