Mickey Shorts Theater coming to DHS

I feel the parks (all of them) could use more spots to see/promote Disney cartoons. While I don't like they offer a FP on it (really .. let's get rid of FPs for ALL shows across the parks please), the Pixar Shorts theater at the Imagination pavilion, it is fun to sit in there, cool off and enjoy some shorts.

This sounds great and better use of space than Path of the Jedi now that they really don't need to promote Star Wars there any more (it is already in FOUR other places in the parks, including a giant land).

As long as they refurb that theatre. Last time I was in there years ago (2015) when they were showing the Frozen short. It seemed like that theatre hadn't seen any work since the Drew Carey: Sounds Dangerous attraction was there. It smelled and many of the seats were broken.

I've wanted to see Path of Jedi but seems like every time I have been there the past few years it is "seasonally" operating .. which seems crazy for me for a continually looping short show. Why close something like that down (unless the theatre was getting THAT bad inside).

I think they could make a lot better use of their small theaters. Why not alternate shows in the theater near Launch Bay? Why not alternate showings of One Man’s Dream with a sneak preview of whatever is coming out next?

Exactly .. we really enjoyed a sneak preview of Wreck iT Ralph 2 last November. It's fun for the kids, its a break and promotes their movies. And I doubt it really takes much time/money to run a short show.

I miss the old mickey shorts they used to run in the theatre on Mainstreet .. until they decided to turn the entirety of Main street into shops.

Many hate when they show other things in one mans dream. Like you said they have other theaters for these things. Path of the Jedi makes the most sense.

Sure, but they probably wouldn’t mind if they knew that OMD would be showing on the hour, and the sneak preview on the half. Or they could alternate it with the old animation movie with Cronkite and Williams on occasion.

It doesn’t seem that hard.
