My 5 year old and 17 year old DD's have decided that we are having a Mickey shaped food day on this trip. Help me out with foods that fit their qualifications, lol.

I know of waffles, pretzels, beniegts, and cookies. What else is there? I need to find some protein, lol. I'm thinking about grabbing some Mickey shaped cheese and bringing my sandwich cutter from home.

Lets see...

Waffles
Pancakes
Krispy Rice treats
Pretzels
Beneigts (sp?)
Ice cream sandwiches
Cookies
Cupcakes

I know there's others, but wow I'm not able to think of them!

It's fun eating Mickey-shaped goodies at Disneyland! A couple of other ones that come to mind:
  • Macrons (Jolly Holiday) - they had either Raspberry or Passion Fruit ones the last time I was there
  • Caramel Chocolate Apples - Mickey-ish shaped
  • Cake Pops
  • Marshmallow Wands - they don't have the three circle shape, but they're made to look like his iconic pants
  • Lollipops
  • Brownie Bites - Mickey ear hat shape

It has been quite a few years since my kids ordered kids meal chicken nuggets. They used to be Mickey shaped. Is that still true?

i thought i heard that the kids plate at the afternoon tea have mickey shaped sandwhiches , but i am not sure.

I don't think they are Mickey shaped anymore :( Last time we ordered one (from Galactic Grill) it was like chicken breast nuggets.

Oh there is a Mickey sink sundae in DCA that is in the shape of Mickeys pants! Super cute and you get to keep the sink!
And you can get popcorn in a Mickey balloon container at DL. (Do these count as Mickey shaped "food" to you? :teeth:)

Have fun eating!

I don't see the BEST thing listed yet--- The Mickey Head Ice Cream Bar! We have been known to eat those for breakfast in the park at DL. Heck it's Disney- why not? One full day of junk isn't going to hurt them permanently. I could easily live on Mickey waffles, Mickey Pretzels (you can always add cheese sauce) and Mickey head ice cream bars for a day--- well throw in the Beignets too because those are really good at Café Orleans. If they get hungry enough, they will cave and eat something involving protein-- might as well make it one of the great DLR corn dogs and have a total junk day!

Thanks everyone! This will be a fun adventure to track these things down.

They count as far as I'm concerned. :earboy2:

Unfortunately, they don't make ribs Mickey shaped. And if they did serve that, I probably wouldn't eat it. That pig got a little too close to Chernobyl.

Yeah, I would stay away from those as well, lol.

Total junk food day! Calories don't count a Disneyland!! :ccat:

I am addicted to the Mickey shaped sour gummies! They are from the Goofy Candy brand and are soooo yummy!

Here is a video highlighting some of the mickey shaped food:

A lot of the breakfast places (Carnation Cafe for large Mickey waffles, Rancho del Zocalo for Mickey pancakes, character breakfasts and the counter service restaurants at each of the hotels for the small Mickey waffles) typically serve until 11pm, and most of the options have a protein side (eggs, choice of bacon or sausage) if you wanted to try and sneak in something that isn't pure carbs. Even if you're rope-drop people, I find a late breakfast is a great way to have a break after a few hours of running from ride-to-ride, plus it'd be something substantial that'll let you snack the rest of the day without those "omg I need real food NOW" hunger pains.

At WDW Chef Mickey's still serves Mickey shaped mac & cheese. I don't know if its available at DLR. You can buy a small bag of uncooked Mickey pasta (we get 4 servings out of it) for $7 from many of the stores. It's crazy but I typically buy 2 or 3 bags on the way home and make it every few months in preparation for our next trip.
