Mickey shampoo bottles

If anyone that is from Alberta has a extra set i would love to take it off your hands. I know that i will be in disneyland but not able to stay in the fancy hotels.
Thanks

I'd love a set too if anyone has an extra! We're staying at a good neighbor hotel as DLH is out of my price range right now.

Pycees312 and Mousireid, are you still out there with your extra Mickey bottles? I have got Momto2nenas and iKristin covered, but if anyone else has extra to spare for Albertamommyof4 and Mom2ian, that would be excellent!

You know what I am wondering? In the old days of the Disneyland Hotel, there were several shops on the premises and a gift shop in each tower of the DLH, or at least in 2 out of the 3 towers. One of those gift shops used to sell the DLH bath products - these were the same ones that were in the rooms at that time, except they came in a plastic zippered pouch. I began to stay at PPH and GCH so I lost track of whether any of the DLH shops that still exist today are selling the current bath products - the Mickey shampoo/lotion bottles. Hmmmm......I wonder. It might be worth a look if any of the towers still have their own gift shops. I know about the Fantasia shop, and you could check there, but I mean like the smaller shops that have some pharmacy type things, some snacks and some cards/gifts, etc. Today's bottles are MUCH cuter than the ones they used to sell, so I am sure lots of folks would buy them.

Funny - I didn't think to check the gift shop in PPH to see if they were selling the Mickey ear bottles, but I squealed with glee when I saw them in the bathroom of our hotel room!!! I thought they were DLH exclusives only!

I'm like Sherry, I don't use them while I'm there, but I guess I'm a horder too. My nieces think it's the only shampoo & conditioner they can use when they come to stay the night at my house.:rotfl:

Hopefully our Nov trip will replenish my supply as it's getting very low. Our last few trips have been to the Grand and my nieces will only use the ones with Mickey on them.

Thank you , i will have to take a look in them.

Oh no - don't tell me that in addition to the dreaded DSE addicts group we have going, now we have to start a support group for those of us who hoard the Mickey ears bath products!:lmao: Will the sickness ever end?!!:rotfl: We are descending into madness!

My friend just hated the H20 Spa stuff at the GCH, even though H20 makes the stuff that's in the other hotels too! She couldn't stand the smell.

I wish I had been thinking clearly when I got the Mickey bottles I got at the PPH. I thought, "Okay, I'll take some some with me so I can keep a set for me and some of my friends will want the other sets." Then, as they began to accumulate over two trips last year, I thought, "Okay, maybe I don't need to bring home ALL of these bottles because not all of my friends will want them." Then, when I got home and later began packing up the bottles in a box, I thought, "Hmmm....maybe I should have gotten more of these after all because someone on the DIS might want them." And then I thought, "Nah....these bottles are really common. Probably anyone on the DIS who would want them already has them. No one will care." As it turns out, only one of my friends would really care about these Mickey bottles; the other friends could not care less, and I didn't bring home as many as I could. So now I know to stock up the next time I stay at PPH or DLH and bring home a stash for anyone on DIS who may want some!

And yes, I never use the hotel bath products. I always bring my own stuff and stick to that.

Thank you , i will have to take a look in them.

Take a look in the DLH shops if you do end up eating at Goofy's Kitchen, but hopefully someone here on DIS will have come through with some bottles for you before then. We will find some for you somehow, albertamommyof4!!! The DIS'ers come through for each other!:goodvibes

Oh, those are so cool. I'll probably never get to DLR, I wish WDW would get them. I'd do anything for even just one of those. Don't get me wrong, I love the bottles at WDW, but these are amazing. If anyone has even an empty bottle they would be willing to part with, I'd be very grateful!!!

You mean to tell me that out of all of those hotels at WDW, not one of them has bottles with ears?:scared1: :scared1: They need to get with it over there at WDW!!!

I wonder if Pycees312 and Mousireid are still with us here?? They had extra bottles, or so it seemed. Well, we have to keep this thread active so that someone else with some extra bottles can eventually catch it and help you guys out!:goodvibes

We stayed at Paradise Pier two years ago and we didn't have these adorable shampoo bottles...I feel completely ripped off!!!! :headache:

You are correct - when we were at PPH in 2007, those cute bottles were not there. In fact, they had the same old black, white and red packaging for the bath products that had been there for YEARS and years. I can remember that black, white and red stuff back at the PPH in 2000, and even before that at the DLH in the '90s!! It was an old and dated design. Finally, DLH got the cute Mickey ears bottles in first - not sure if they got them in 2007 or before. And voila! PPH followed suit, and when we stayed at PPH in October last year, I squealed with glee when I saw the ears bottles in the bathroom because I thought they were DLH-exclusive.

Happy you were able to get your little travel sized mickey bottles! I did want to mention that I fond of the lovely orange-y citrus scent of the HoJo toiletries, so hopefully you will like the contents if not the little bottles! Have a blast on your trip!

If you start a support group for bath products, I'm sure we'll have to start many more for all the other types of things we all collect. It could be never-ending...when will I ever get any work done? I may need to join many support groups.

I just about had myself convinced to go to San Diego in May instead of DL and then my GS comes over today and I'm back to thinking about DL. It's a serious sickness.

I need a self help group for Mickey ears...my collection is growing and growing and growing lol

Darn! I was all excited as we are coming to DL in August and I love those Mickey bottles! But we're staying at the GCH so we won't be getting them. :(

I'd pay for shipping, too, if anyone had a set they'd like to send to me. I think they'd be perfect travel size bottles, too!

I would :lovestruc a set of those! I would gladly pay shipping or trade pins in exchange!
