Hi everyone,
We are going to Orlando early this December and were thinking of doing the above. It sounds fabulous but I was wondering if it gets really busy? I know Disney only allow a certain no. of people, but if it`s going to be heaving then we wouldn`t go. Also, for anyone who has been there, did you really enjoy it and is it worth going to?
Thanks a lot.
Fiona.

Hi
Yes it does get very busy, but it's worth going to see the shows that they put on etc. and you get a cookie and hot choccie and also a free photo taken of you all:hyper:
Also as the parade is usually on twice at night , I think at 8pm and 10 pm you'll find that the park goes quieter after the 1st parade as families with young children tend to start heading home as the little ones are dead tired by then.
hope this helps:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

It can get busy. I have been to 3 now and have to say busiest was at the weekend. Locals tend to go at the weekend as well.

I can't remember whether it was the Tuesday or Wednesday whichever they run it on but that was do-able. Mostly walk ons or very short lines.

One thing don't miss the special xmas things, like the parade , snow on Mainstreet the Castle show if it is't raining and you have to do the Wishes they add some extra fireworks all round the MK.

Absolutely fantastic!

I will be going again early December and I can't wait.

We are booked for MVMCP this year and I did quite a bit of research into what date to pick. It seems that weekends are extremely busy so are best avoided. I also felt that the very last show (this year on Fri 17th) would also be very very heavily attended. After careful thought, I have booked Tues 14th. I hope this wont be too crowded, although we wont be going to do rides, just the shows and parades. We also booked the Very Merry Christmas Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. This means we will be in the park at the start of the party and hopefully get a bit of a head start in front of people that will be queuing to get in!!

We were in WDW last year for the first week in December and went to MVMCP on, I think the 2nd or 3rd (midweek anyway). One point they don't tend to tell you is that you can enter the park from about 4pm with just the party ticket - I read it on a post here so we arrived about 4.15pm and had no problem getting in.

It really wasn't that busy - we were able to get 2/3 goes on the Buzz ride virtually walking straight on. Then wandered round towards Toon Town - having a go on the Teacups first - and then straight into Mickey & Minnies house and a few goes on the Barnstormer. Hardly anyone else was around in Toontown as it was nearer the official opening time of the party.

It does get busy later on near parade time and the queues for the photos get very very long. The hot chocolate and cookies are yummy. :)

In December I went on a Tuesday and it was a joy eveything was a walk on even Peter Pan and rides like Splash Mountain was just magical,It was definitly the highlight of our holiday
When you enter the park and see it snowing on Main Street your heart stops,We watched the 2nd parade hardly a crowd and we were sat on the kerb!
Without sounding Schmaltzy it was one night I will never forget! and that is why in 2005 we are going in December so we can go to the Christmas party again!!

We are going in December 2005 and are really looking forward to the party :)

Thanks everyone for all your help and advice. We`ll definitely go to Mickey`s Party now in December as your feedback has been so positive. We really love Splash Mountain and it`ll be brilliant to ride that in the dark. :-)
