I know this is a no-brainer for other people, but I'm a bit cooking-challenged...
I'm planning my son's 1st birthday and would like to make the Mickey head rice krispies as a favor/treat for the kids...I bought the mickey cutter at WDW to make some sandwiches, so at least I know I'm in the right path..
Now, how do I make the treats? Are they easy to make? :confused3

Any help with this...or any other ideas that I can use for the food at the party will be appreciated...

As always, thanks...

The receipe is on the side of the Rice Crispies box. It's butter, marshmellows and rice crispies. Not too hard to make. I'm thinking you can make the batch and put in in a pan to cool. When you are ready to cut them, just use the cookie butter you have. You may want to spray it with Pam, to keep it from sticking.

We also put a little flour on the bottom of the pan with the Pam. Afterwards it wipes away easily and it hasn't changed the taste for us either. It seems to be the only way we can keep them totally sticking.

You can also make them identical to WDW treats by melting chocolate in a double boiler, and then, once the head is cool and firm, you dip the ears in chocolate and immediately place them on wax paper in the fridge.

Also, My local Ralphs (Kroger) has started carrying "disney confetti" on the cake aisle. It's basically a shaker filled with mickey head sprinkles. These can be mixed in to the krispy batter, near the end (once it is cooled slightly) to give the ears more color.

Cheers!
