Mickey Premium Bars

Sitting here watching the WDW version of unwrapped for the zillionth time. Does anyone know where you might be able to order mickey premium bars? I tried googling it and couldn't find a thing. Figured the patent might have something to do with it. It would just make my day to have a mickey premium bar every once in a while.

Can you "order" frozen ice cream?

How would they ship it?

I know you can order frozen steaks and such (shipped with dry ice)
but ice cream bars????

Heck, those wonderful Mickey Bars melt almost immediately...
all over every child's face (and many an adult's clothing) nearly on contact with AIR!

(Don't ask me how I know...)

Oh well, put me down for a dozen bars, via Fed Ex!!

You can buy the bar contents, not the shape. Put in your zip and check off the bar on the left and search. They will taste the same, but probably not be as much fun.

I've heard that the Nestle Husky bars are the same thing, just not the fun Mickey shape, obviously! Like the Minnie Strawberry Bars are the same as the Edy/Dreyer's Strawberry bars you can find in the grocery store.

Harris Teeter had the Dove bars BOGO a few weeks ago and I loaded up. Not as convenient with no stick, but yummy!

I've seen Mickey Ice Cream Bars for sale at grocery stores near me but they are the old style (chocolate covered ears, vanilla face) not the premium like at the parks. I think Nestle makes them.

As Dan mentioned, the Mickey Premium is just a Dove ice cream bar shaped like Mickey. I buy them at my grocery store all the time. Too often, actually!

I knew it!!! My family always ate Dove bars at home and Mickey bars in the parks, and to this day, I still buy Dove bars for my home (two boxes in the fridge right now). I had a feeling that they were the same manufacturer, but I wasn't sure.

I love the creamy taste! Be sure to buy the Dove Milk Chocolate with vanilla filling version, which seems to be the Mickey bar version.

Not sure about the PP's (stick-less) version, but all of the Dove bars I've eaten are sold with a stick a the bottom, just like Mickey bars in the parks... they just don't have a Mickey ears shape.

but he has been searching for this kind, we have not had them since we were children. the last 2 trips to WDW he asked about them but people looked at us like we were crazy.
So this is a long shot (because we more than likely won't have the same stores here) but what store do you see them at?

I believe they are made by Nestle.

DH tried and tried to find someone selling Mickey bars. You can only purchase them ON Disney property (and on a Disney cruise ship). The packaging reads Nestle (I'm 100% sure of that). They are made special for Disney. However, I have been told numerous times the Dove ice cream bars are the exact same, just not Mickey-shaped. But, I can never bring myself to buy them in the store. It just wouldn't be the same without the ears to bite off. So, I just have one more thing to look forward to during our WDW trips.

I plan getting a couple of these on the DCL ship when I am on it in 30 more days!!!!!!!

I wish there was away to buy them, but then again it is just more special to get them when at WDW or on a DCL!

Everything that is Mickey Mouse Shape just tastes better!!!! LOL

My grandmother and I, when we are counting down to our trips, watch an old school video "A Day at the Magic Kingdom" (I believe it's on youtube) and they show a kid eating the old school Mickey bar. And I cry a little every time I see it because I miss it The new bars are just too chocolatey for me.

I saw them at Giant Foods grocery store. I live in PA though, so I'm not sure if Giant has stores out of the state. I swear the bars are made from Nestle but I went to their website and can't find them. The box is blue with a picture of the ice cream bar right in the front. It wasn't very long ago that I saw them, I'll double check when I go shopping tonight.

It's not on the menu. But, you CAN get the Mickey bars from room service onboard the Disney ships!!!!! We made it a nightly tradition to order a Mickey bar and relax on our verandah. What a sweet way to end the day. Otherwise, you can get them in any dining room.
