Mickey Premium Bars

Speaking of Mickey shaped, I live in South Jersey and I saw Mickey shaped
hamburgers there last week, at Shoprite

Can you "order" frozen ice cream?

How would they ship it?

Actually, yes my school has a dairy bar that makes and ships ice cream. You can order it online. However, I have no idea how they ship it. That would be pretty cool if you could mickey bars online.

I remember when I was little they had chocolate and vanilla mickey shaped ice cream bars at the grocery store. It was part of a whole line of disney treats. They weren't covered in chocolate though.

It's possible that Disney discontinued the ice cream bars they used to sell in the stores. I haven't really looked for them, but I haven't seen them in the ice cream section. Remember, about a year ago, Disney said they were only going to put their name on healthy items. I didn't see anythign secifically about the ice cream bars, but it may be the case.

DH tried and tried to find someone selling Mickey bars. You can only purchase them ON Disney property (and on a Disney cruise ship). The packaging reads Nestle (I'm 100% sure of that). They are made special for Disney. However, I have been told numerous times the Dove ice cream bars are the exact same, just not Mickey-shaped. But, I can never bring myself to buy them in the store. It just wouldn't be the same without the ears to bite off. So, I just have one more thing to look forward to during our WDW trips.

I thought so! I was wondering how they could be Dove bars when Dove is made by Mars (a Nestle competitor).

I've seen those at our local Wal-Mart too. I've also seen Mickey-shaped cheese and frozen pizza. So it does baffle me why they won't sell in grocery stores too?????????

I happen to have a couple of the Mickey Chocolate Bars here (I buy a few every trip and ration them out to myself!). They do not say who they are made by - it just says "Distributed by Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, Lake Buena Vista, FL". It sure tastes like Nestle to me (I'm a chocoholic), but it doesn't say so.

Sitting here watching the WDW version of unwrapped for the zillionth time. Does anyone know where you might be able to order mickey premium bars? I tried googling it and couldn't find a thing. Figured the patent might have something to do with it. It would just make my day to have a mickey premium bar every once in a while.

The Dove ice cream bars chocolate covered are the same as the Mickey bars. I buy the Vanilla chocolate coated and the get the Dove ice cream mini bars that are like miniature candy bar sized and cut them and half. They stick on because the ice cream sticks to the chocolate and there you go, improvised Mickey ice cream bar.
