Mickey Mouse watch question.....

In May 2001 while at WDW, DH bought me a classic style Mickey Mouse watch. It has a gold face with Mickey Mouse's arms for the hour and minute hands. It has a brown leather strap that says "DISNEY" on the inside of one half of the strap, and "Genuine Leather-China" on the other half. The strap has already lost one of the loops that holds the end of the strap in place, and the other loop is falling apart now. A couple of days ago my watch opened up while I was wearing it, and fell off, but fortunately it fell off inside my coat sleeve.

My question is: Is it possible to get a DISNEY replacement leather strap?? And if so, where?? The watch still looks like new and works fine, and I know I can get a plain leather strap anywhere, but I'd really like to get an "authentic" DISNEY leather strap for it.

Any info is greatly appreciated!!

I have never seen a band like that in the stores. I've always had a Mickey watch and have never been able to find an authentic band to replace it.

Have you tried calling WDW Merchandise? Maybe they can help you.

If you are going to WDW any time soon, I'd take the watch and tell someone in a shop that carries that watch that you are looking for replacement straps. They might just give you a new watch. It's worth a try.

I can't help you, but I am very interested in the answer. I got my WDW watch in August of 2001 and the loop has been gone for months on mine too.
