Mickey Mouse fish?

I'm sure this isn't in the right spot but I was sure all you Disney lovers out there would appreciate this. I'm sure some of you have heard of the Mickey Mouse fish before, but I never have. Here's the link to the page I found about them. Really makes me want to buy an aquarium!

We have actually had them in our tank before. Unfortunately "Mickey" and "Minnie" didn't live long.

I've bought several of them too. Unfortunately they didn't last long. Unlike the dumb guppies dd brought home from school in 3rd grade (4 years ago!) that live *forever*!

Yes, they are cute. Ours didn't last long...at all. Even though we know that, we still plan on getting some more when we get our tank set up again. We got ours at petsmart too.

When you say they don't last long, how long would you say they lived? Those are cute...we used to have a dog that had a Mickey Mouse shape on her back. But she lived a long time...

I can't believe that Disney hasn't objected to the use of Mickey's name, aren't they usually really protective?

So...we have three posters who have had Mickey Fish in their aquariums stating "they don't last long"...Now before I go out and buy Mickey Fish for my DGS...please tell me how long did you have them...day? week? month? or year? ... I don't want to be doing "burials at sea" on a regular schedule... Thank you for any information...jc
