Mickey Mouse Clubhouse toys the next rage?

I read a few items about this line of toys being the next hot holiday item like the Elmo TMX. Can anyone fill me in on the details on this line such as retail price, why are they in such demand, which stores are selling them, any other pertinent details, etc? Thanks

I found the Clubhouse at SuperWalmart this weekend for around 39.99. They also had the interactive figures for around 7.00. I bought 2 sets of those. They also had the phone, car, keyboard and Mickey. They had one clubhouse left and a couple more set of figures. They had quite a few of the phone and other items.

I just sold the set, clubhouse, car and all figures for $165 on Ebay. Apparently these are another hot toy and people are willing to pay double for them. They are impossible to find around here now. Luckily DH bought 2 sets. One to sell and one for DS. I really didn't expect it to sell for that much though! We only paid $90 for it.

It does appear to becoming popular! I was lucky enough to find one at a SuperWalmart in Lakeland, FL this past Saturday (we took our dd to see the Doodlebops in concert there and thought I would pop in and see if they had one) all toy stores in Orlando are SOLD OUT of this.............

Low and behold they had 2! I bought one and all 4 sets of the figures for my dd for her 2nd bday in January. She is OBSESSED with the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on TV...............

That night I talked to my sister who says her daughter 18 months old, likes the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show too, and maybe she should get one for her for Christmas.............I was sick to my stomach thinking I could have bought that 2nd one for her!

So we called around to our local stores again, and one walmart about 25 minutes away is scheduled to get 2 playsets on Oct.4th.................

Well, anyway, I was doing some shopping an hour's drive from Orlando yesterday and stopped in a Toys R Us "just to check" and lo and behold they had 2 playsets!!!!!!!!!!! So my neice now has one too! And I also got a HUGE stuffed Mickey Mouse for $6.98!!!! And a Wiggles CD with Steve Irwin guest starring for $3.98...........how touching is that to find now?

Toys R Us had no clue as to the playsets that went with the playsets...but I stopped in a nearby Walmart and they had 2 figure sets shoved back on a shelf..............I am so happy to have them for my 2 favorite toddlers!

I hope others are able to find them whose children love Mickey!!!

Our SuperWalmart had the Mickey doll with a DVD, a Mickey car that evidently counts (?), and a Name that song Mickey. Out of playhouses.

I called about 10 Walmarts, several TRU and several KB Toys last week. Some had the figures, cars and phones. None had playsets left. Sears had them on their website where you could sign up to be notified by email when they received them, but the item has since been removed from the site. I finally broke down and paid $5 extra plus shipping at kbtoys.com for the clubhouse, so I didn't have to drive myself crazy anymore. I did get the figures, car and cell phone for dd at Walmart.

I got my clubhouse!! Called all around and found 1 left in a Toys R US about 30 minutes away. One less Christmas present I have to worry about

Just found one at Toys R Us. I had called several times and they said that they had not gotten any in and they had no idea if they would be getting any in soon. The next day I went in to buy a birthday gift for our nephew and guess what I found on the shelf. They didn't have any of the extra playsets that you can purchase so I will be hitting all of the local(and maybe not so local) Wal-marts.

My Dm was lucky to find one for my Dnephew who LOVES Mickey.

my DMom needs some info regarding putting the sliding board on as the instructions aren't very helpful. There's no customer service #. She said that the slide keeps falling off.

Has anyone successfully been able to keep their slide together?

I too finally lucked up on two at my local Walmart. I have tried several others farther away and mine had 2 but not all the figures. I imagine because of all the pieces it will be a hit or miss for a complete set. Will sell one set on Ebay and keep the other for my DD3, she just loves playing with those figures toys. I just bought all the figurines on etoys for 10.99 a piece, a little more than what you would pay at Walmart and the likes but I haven't been able to find them any where and I figured this way I'll have them and it saved me gas money . Don't give up yet! I think because the toy is so new that is why they aren't fully out on store shelves yet. I hope so! It is sad, because I cannot think of ANYTHING else to get my DD who will be turning 3 the end of February. All the things I can think that she would like are things that her sister (5) has (or has something similar) and will soon be too old for and I cannot see having two of something.

She does not play with our little people stuff, but she DOES love the disney figurines we have gotten from happy meals and the like. So I thought this would be great for her.

The only other thing which I have found for her for christmas was an "Elmo Knows Your Name".

Beyond that, I am stumped!
