I just booked a hall for my son's first birthday party which will be the first week in January. We are having about 50 guests, around 15 of them are children. I thought maybe someone on here might have had a Mickey Mouse party that I could steal some ideas from? Pictures would be great! I'm looking for anything from cake ideas, favors, decorations, invitations, or anything! Or just tips for 1st birthday parties in general would be great. I want his first birthday party to be fantastic!:yay:

We had a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse party for my dd's second birthday. It was so much fun!

My cake turned out horrible. I didn't let the fondant or rice krispies treats sit long enough, and then I panicked as things started to not work. It ended with my pregnant hormonal self sobbing at how I ruined my daughter's childhood because of the cake.:rotfl: But here it is.

Edible Arrangements has a Mickey arrangement. I was too cheap to pay for it though, so my local store let me buy the Mickey part for $10. I just put strawberries in it. I actually still have it. LOL

DD wore a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse shirt. And all the kids had the party Mickey ears that she's wearing in the picture.

I printed out a big picture of the clubhouse for the kids to have their pictures taken. I don't think anyone actually posed with it, but people loved it as a decoration. The way I did it was I googled a picture of the clubhouse. Then I found a website (can't remember which site) that let me upload the picture and choose how big I wanted it. It then made a file where it printed part of the picture on different pages, and I taped them together. I traced the big picture onto white kraft paper and painted it.

The goody bags were all Mickey Mouse Clubhouse stuff from Party City. This was almost 2 years ago, so I'm not sure if they still carry it. I think we also had Mickey shaped cookies. I didn't do any organized games because the kids were too little. They just ran through the house and acted like nutjobs.

Right now I'm planning a Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party for my daughter's friends. One of the things I'm making is the caramel Mickey pumpkin apples. But I also found this that I'd love to make at a non-Halloween time. It looks like the ears are marshmallows.

We had a Mickey Mouse hot dog party for our daughter's 2nd birthday. Found a lot of great items online at birthdayexpress.com and at the iParty store.

I bought one of the 52" tall Mickey Mouse airwalker balloons and the kids loved it!

For the cake, I bought the Mickey Mouse figures (http://www.disneystore.com/mickey-f...house-figurine-play-set-6-pc/p/1257281/13895/) and added them to the cake and made my daughter a small individual Mickey Mouse ear-shaped cake (out of biscuit cutters).

And to really have a hot dog party, we served all different types of hot dogs, including regular hot dogs and lil' smokies!

Have fun!!!

We're having a Mickey Mouse theme party for my soon-to-be 2 year old in two weeks!

I love the topitaries here

And I'm making these cupcakes which I'm super excited about! :woohoo:

HTH!

I just waned to add that Dollar Tree has a cute Disney themed birthday balloon...you could pick up a few to add to the decor!
We did a Mickey shaped face for my middle son's 1st birthday. Turned out cute, but the black frosting was such a mistake!! LOADS of stained teeth and a black-tinted 1 year old!! :scared1:
Hope you have a fun day!! :thumbsup2
