Another issue-


These Mickey and Princess FP machines are the closest FP machines to any park entrance at any of the theme parks at WDW.

Their prominent position will likely attract a lot of guests as they first enter the park.

Many guests will likely even think that they MUST get a FP to meet Mickey or Princesses.
That might be a problem, in itself.)

Since so many guests have no idea how FP works, I'm betting that there will soon be tons of complaints from guests who, when seeing the FP machines right inside the park (so to speak) will just follow the crowd and grab a Mickey FP, first-thing.

Then, especially if it is a bit later in the morning, they won't be able to get another FP for about 2 hours.

We're going to be discussing these somewhat unique FP issues for quite some time, I have a feeling.

I see just from the "Another FASTPASS ticket will be available..." info that they ARE tied to the rest of the park's FP system.

That's what I was saying about the Roger Rabbit FP's. It's been frequently stated that they DO NOT affect other Fast Passes because they are not tied to the main system. However, as you can see below, they DO have the "Another Fastpass" line on them.

I know it's DLR and not WDW but I'm just showing that there is precedence.

When WDW's Lights! Motors! ACTION! Stunt Show (the only WDW attraction that's FP was NOT "connected" to the rest of the Studio's FP system) FP's were issued, I think that they had printed on them "Another FASTPASS ticket will be available..." and a time that was about 5 minutes after the FP was ISSUED.
In other words, the ticket even specified that the wait to get another FP was not limited to the Return Time.

I was there today and got a fastpass to see the Princesses. I never tried to see if I could get another fastpass at the same time though.

I can tell you from reading that FP carefully, that unlike the rest of MK's FP's, you only have to wait ONE HOUR from the time you pick up the Mickey FP and when you can get another FP.

That is a major difference, right there.

If you look at the tiny numbers at the bottom right corner of the FP, you'll see that it was issued at 11:15.
Then, the "Another FASTPASS ticket ill be available after 12:15pm" puts that at the "one hour later" mark,
even thought the Return Time is 12:45pm.

Since Toon Town Fair in MK was mickey and minnie's summer home, you can still see their permanent homes in Disneyland. Disneyland has an awesome Toontown area. Due to the economy, even mickey and minnie had to downside !

You didn't read about the big lawsuit?

It seems Mickey and Minnie lost their summer homes in an unfortunate case of eminent domain. It seems the local government valued the tax base created by the incoming circus more than the property taxes generated by those 2 little houses.

As long as toon town is no longer there, so the attractive of Mickey and Minnie's house is gone, another great spot is at Character Connection, Epcot. Sure, they won't pose together, but with one line you get to meet Pluto, Goofy and Donald too!

There's photopass for every character and you get to spend a nice amount of time with each one.

And there's no guarantee Mickey and Minnie will be together when you get through the line. All I have seen is that she will be there MOST of the day. That means no guarantee on Minnie.
