Mickey, Minions & more. 2 week holiday. Updated 9/14 - FINAL THOUGHTS

OK I'm caught up again, didn't even read updates on FB.

I saw the Nemo musical once and really want to do it again but Jim likes the Lion King better.

Sanaa looks good but one I will skip. I do not like spicy food or I should say it doesn't like me.

I like American Adventure but I need to do it early or I fall asleep. Dark and tired equals a nap for me.

I am doing that this weekend.
Tell Jim to do both. it is cool in the theaters. :lmao:
They have non spicy food.
it happens.

After seeing the show we walked on.

Germany.

I could buy one of everything in here.

The Christmas Storyteller description.

Then we saw this which I thought was cute.

Then we crossed over the bridge.

Welcome to China.

Then we came to Norway.

Then we saw the line for Maelstrom.

I was out voted for waiting. So we did.

I did the boat popping out.

20 Minutes to wait.

Looking around.

I think they were lined up for Anna & Elsa.

Then we were inside. The wait wasn’t bad.

I see a hidden something there. LOL

I put my arms up and faced the camera backwards to take this shot.

Hello.

The little Norwegian village you end up in.

Decorations.

I think I will stop here.

Up next,

More walking

Seems like Norway's gotten a lot more popular with Elsa and Anna there.

Nice pictures of the ride. I see you got the Hidden Mickey or something... in your picture! :cool1:

Hi Scott! I'm getting caught up ... had to go back a ways... like to where you posted our meet up at MK! I would love for our paths to cross again and to spend more time hanging out.

Your safari photos are incredible. With the truck bouncing around so much I have trouble getting photos let alone anything zoomed in. Well done.

I have not seen the "Goodnight" projection on the Epcot globe. That was very cool to see.

Thanks for sharing the DVC Merry Mixer. I recall seeing the line of folks and not seeing the signs that explained what they were waiting to do. I couldn't figure out why they were going back stage. Now I know. I can sleep well tonight having that answered!

We enjoyed the Epcot Christmas storytellers. I thought the Norway one was funny. Maybe it wasn't supposed to be. ;)

I love that big nutcracker

Norway is jumping now with popularity of Anna and Elsa

I can remember years and years ago when the wait for Maelstrom was like that all the time and it moves so slowly for some reason. I refuse to wait for it now though, but it sounds like it is closing this Sept. Guess I should've rode it one last time.

it certainly did.
I did. I didn't zoom in though.

:thumbsup2 hopefully they will cross again. Next year we are doing California so maybe we can meet there foir a meet.
Thanks.
it was the first time I had seen it and was so excited. LOL.
:lmao: so happy I helped your sleep.
I think some try to make it more entertaining. :thumbsup2

it was back then.

I like the wait if it is hot out and we get air conditioning. I have heard rumors it is going to be a Frozen attraction. Not a surprise as Disney is really cashing in on the Frozen mania.

Day 13: Part 4

After our ride we started walking up to the front. I took a pic looking back as we walked.

Then I took 8 pics of the monorail going by, here is one.

Then we came to Pluto and his doghouse.

Then the gospel singers were out. Maybe this day I stayed and watched them for a minute.

The iconic Spaceship Earth.

Vinny posing by SE.

When we got there we saw the wait was 5 minutes so we decided to go on.

Let’s ride.

No clue what this is.

This is my facebook cover photo right now. LOL.

Here is our ride video.

The actual video.

Now with the ride over we decided it was time for dinner. Renee was not going to meet us. Off we went.

Looks like we got the gray monorail.

Here is the video of the ride. It is the full ride so kind of long.

Then we were off to our next destination.

Think I will stop here as lots of photos coming.

Up next,

Getting to the place

2 Great updates Scott . I finally saw the hidden Mickey in your 2nd pix, I have been looking for that for ages .. Thanks Scott Wow a 5 minute wait for SE , can't pass that up!! Where are you off to for dinner mmmmmm!!

Good memories of just a month ago. I don't have another Disney trip until March, and these pictures are already making my withdrawals worse! I especially love the picture of the palm trees and the bridge.

Wait and see.

:thumbsup2 Your lucky, that sooner than me. I am looking at next September but it will be Disneyland and Walt Disney World in one trip.
:thumbsup2 I knew you would like palm tree pics.

That's a great no-wait, walk-on time for SE. Glad you enjoyed it!
:thumbsup2 any minimal wait on a ride is great.

Great updates, Scott.

I have to say Germany is one of my favorite countries to visit iN WS. I just love the shops there.

I don't understand why the last two trips we've been there that the line for Maelstrom has been so darn long. :confused3

Great picture of the troll on the ride.

I knew that picture looked familiar of you and Vinny from Spaceship Earth. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Okay no dinner update here. It is actually in 2 updates.

We got to the TTC and decided to take the ferry across. It is slower but the scenery is just beautiful.

Our boat for the trip.

They have gotten a lot done here since we visited.

There is a DVC already completed.

Here comes the next ferry.

It looks like the castle show just ended with the smoke by the castle.

A view of MK lit up.

We had time before our adr so we decided to go see decorations at another resort.

Here comes our boat for this trip.

Vinny sitting and relaxing and looking not so happy. LOl.

Looking over at Contemporary and Bay Lake.

Looking back at MK again.

The tree at Contemporary.

We took the boat to Wilderness Lodge and soon enough we were there but that will have to wait till the next update.

Up next,

Wilderness Lodge decorations

it is a nice place to go to. I love the karamel shop the most and the Christmas shop.
People get frustrated waiting for Anna and Elsa so they go there. Maybe not now though being they moved to MK.
:)

Great updates. makes me wish I was there now. I haven't taken the ferry in years as we don't do hoppers and never go to ttc. love the pictures of the resrts andcmk lit up.

Enjoyed the pics on the ferry

Can't wait to see where you ate :coffee:

:)

The waits for Maelstrom were still like at 30 minutes when we were there in June and Anna and Elsa were already at the MK.

Great pictures from your Ferry ride. Mark and I always take the Ferry unless we just missed one. We tend to avoid the Monorail at all costs...we ALWAYS get stuck on it.:lmao::lmao:

Can't wait to see the Christmas decorations at the WL; we ate breakfast there but didn't have time to look around at all the decorations they had.

Great photo taken from the ferry of the castle and train station with the monorail going by!

I have to go to Germany's karamel shop every time we go to World Showcase! I nibble on a chocolate covered caramel salted thing for the rest of the day. I usually get two so I can take one back to the room for later!

Gorgeous! What a beautiful time of the evening to be taking the ferry across to the MK!

The last time I was in WDW the wait for Malestrom was ridiculously long. I love that troll and I have yet to be successful in getting a picture of it.

Your Christmas pics have me excited for my 2015 Christmas trip. Can't believe I will be waiting that long. :faint:

Beautiful pics in your last several updates, as usual.

Love the picture of your caricature dancing on Spaceship Earth! I can hear the cha cha cha in the background! :rotfl2:
