Wow! That was a soaking. I hope it was a warm day. (I think it was in the 80's right??) Great photo on the JP ride. I've only been on the CA version and it was years ago so I don't remember much except the drop.

Bummer about FJ but you know, you are less of a man than you were 16 weeks ago! You know I mean that in only the best way.

You know, since Potter opened, a lot of people overlook Jurassic Park. But it really is one of the best themed areas of any park.

I enjoy the River Adventure. I tried to film inside once, but I got yelled at, lol.

Rumour has it of an expansion here once the new movie opens. Can't wait to see both.

That is true. I went in the wrong direction to get to it and had to double back and it is a fun section of the park.
I guess big brother is always watching.

I am strictly a poncho kind of girl so I admire you bravery in tackling those falls without one! And you are even braver for exposing your calendar to the elements. It obviously held up well because your pictures of the splash zone are really awesome! Love it! I remember that ride and it looks like a lot of fun!

I was nervous for my camera but I was surprised it held up.

Great pictures of the ride. I'm surprised that they let you take the camera on. I was firmly told to put my camera away.

Jurassic Ride looks fun. Trent would love that. He loves getting soaked.

I went on youtube and looked up Poseidon ride. I watched some of it, but didnt seem like much of a ride. Is it just a walk through attraction/show?

it is a fun ride. You definitely get soaked.

We did and I am very happy it did. It really didn't get all that wet either. ok it did but not badly.

Wow! I had no idea that you got so wet on the Jurassic Park ride. I'm not a fan of walking around soaking wet all day so I'm thinking that I'll pack some throw away ponchos.

I am not either but it was a nice day and we did dry off relatively quickly.

I love your pictures and surprised they allowed you to take them. I have heard many times they will have an announcement on the ride if they catch you taking pictures to put your camera away. We never went on it because I hate getting wet like that, but I do want to try it someday....I would be a poncho wearer though. LOL

Hi all,

Sorry for no updates but I am house and dog sitting for one of Vinny's nephews and do not have the updates on the laptop. I will be home on Thursday so look for an update.

I forgot to mention that US does have machines you can go in and they blow dry you. It is $5 charge and it really did not seem to work that well.

Jurassic Park is one of the few things in Universal that I'd be interested in doing. It will be high on my list when we finally do get over there. I think the girls will like it, too - especially the getting wet part. I'll be in the poncho-wearing group, for sure.

After our trip with the dinosaurs we walked a little and tried to dry off. We then walked over this bridge which was practically empty.


Then we came to Dudley Do-Right Ripsaw Falls but fortunately it was closed for cleaning.




Here they are cleaning it.


Then the building where you load.


Oh please! It is only day 5. LOL.


This was exhausting and being wet did not help. LOL






As you can see here we were still wet.


Then we came upon this. Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges.




We thought about if we wanted to go on. I said no but guess what Renee and Vinny did so I sat this one out. I was soaked enough.

I remember going n Dudley Rip saws or whatever heck it is called ride back when we lived in FL one day and OMG, soaked to the core. When you got into boat, it was literally filled with water already. No way to avoid it. while it was fun, I hate being that wet

I do not blame you for sitting out the next wet ride. That ride you get drenched too

Think I might start my TR tonight.........

You do get soaked on that ride, ALOT. That should have been a clue.
I never did Popeye but did do the Dudley one before and it was enough.

You guys were soaked on that ride. I don't like water rides and getting wet. I would have sat the next one out with you. I can't believe how wet everyone on that Jurassic Park ride gets.
