I'm sorry to say Universal is lost on me. Haven't been there. It's all kinds of pretty and all the restaurants sound pretty good, but beyond that I'm at a loss as what to say.

I hope you at least had a great time.

So any word on when y'all are moving? Are you moving into a house, is that why y'all will be getting cars? If I'm being too nosey, tell me to mind my own business.

Great pictures! I love the Dr. Seuss section at Universal. We had a great time when we went a couple of years ago. I think we need to add it to our "to do" list again next time we go. We are banking our points for 2014 and have said we aren't going back to WDW until summer of 2015. We shall see if that actually happens! Ha!! If we do go between now and then it will be out of pocket on a special deal or something. Not with points. By 2015 we will have enough points to stay a week or more wherever we choose. I'm hoping for the Beach Club since it will be summer and we haven't stayed there yet.

Wow, Islands of Adventure looks beautiful! I had no idea it was so pretty! I mean, Universal looks nice but I feel like I couldn't really get into it that much if I go because it's all movies and comic books that I don't care about (well, except the Simpsons!) but Islands of Adventure looks amazing! It's so colorful and bright and happy looking! And the Christmas decorations are perfect! And the Seuss area looks lovely! I can't wait to see more pictures!

It is a pretty place to visit.
I think I am the only one who goes there and doesn't really see movies but rides. I guess I do though because of E.T. and Simpsons but really it is more for fun.

No word yet. We have to sell what we r in then we will move and buy new cars. I say it all on facebook so no secrets, ask away. LOL

After we walked through Seussland we came to “The Lost Continent”. We walked through here too. LOl




This is Poseidon's Fury which we did not do and I read a review for it on Glennbo’s tr (fun report, found here) and kind of glad we did not.




Then we continued walking. They have a pearl place too.




Then we came to our main destination.


We will come back to that later on. We continued walking along with a lot of other people.


I love how they did this land.




And our destination, The Forbidden Journey.


This is a dark ride and I was so happy to have lost the weight so I could go on finally. Went a few years ago and I was too fat to ride and was hoping with what I had lost already I could. When you approach the ride they have a test seat (should be more off to the side) that you can see if you fit. A family was there being tested before us and the son could not go and one other person could not either. Then it was our turn. Renee tried on the outer seat and she was a no go. Now it was my turn and I was hopeful because I got on the Mummy but it was a no for me too. I was so upset but really what could I do. The next time we go I will get on that ride or I will bring it down. LOl.
Now next we walked around and we ended up here. Three Broomsticks.


Receipts show I only had an OJ earlier while they ate I must have gotten ready so now it was my turn to eat.

We went in and ordered.

Scott: American breakfast.


Renee & Vinny: Frozen Butterbeer.


The meal was okay but I really could not eat barely half of it. I also got a regular butterbeer with it. The total came to $25.53.

The theme inside is really great.


As you can see it was not busy at all.

Then we left and here is the outside.


Renee had to use the little girls room and we waited and then we went somewhere. But where did we go?
Shopping of course. LOl. Candy shopping sounds good.

I wonder if people tried climbing these and that is why they put candy on it.


The other side is the toy store. I really just walked through it quickly. I made it out of both stores buying nothing.

Yeah, you definitely didn't miss much at Poseidon's Fury/Hissy Fit. Not horrible, but there are much better ways to spend your time there. Awesome theming though.

Oh man, sorry about the Forbidden Journey.

Obviously Uni hit a home run with Wizarding World and I too am anxious to see and experience Diagon Alley.

You were seriously too large to ride Forbidden Journey? There are a lot of big people in our world so you'd think that they'd make the rides available to larger people. With the way that you are dropping weight, you'll be able to get on anything when you go back.

Now that we've decided to buy Universal tickets, it's even more exciting looking at your pictures.

I really do love WWoHP and can't wait until the expansion is done so that there's even more to see. That's really the only thing I am in love with at IOA except maybe Spiderman, although I don't know if I ever really give it a fair shake.
I feel like I'm always just comparing it to Disney and thinking about how it doesn't flow like Disney does, but I think I need to learn to appreciate its differences rather than continuing to compare the two.

You WILL get on FJ next time...you're doing awesome!

The butterbeer is incredible. Have the frozen one I find it better. I could not drink it because of the surgery but it is so good. I should have gotten the pumpkin juice and tried it but did not think of it.
