Mickey, Minions & more. 2 week holiday. Updated 9/14 - FINAL THOUGHTS

Caught up. I have ignored TR's this week.

That woman was annoying with the amount of time she took. I didn't realize she was editing pics. The sole CM took me right after you.

Well done on grabbing TT FP's, it's so crazy that you can't get both TT and Soarin on the FP+ :(

Yay for getting on Disney property!

Someday we will stay at AoA, when the family suites are not so expensive. I really want to stay in a Nemo room!

I'm definitely going to have to go on Spaceship Earth on our next trip, we missed that one on the last trip too!

Finally! I know you had fun and all at US but I can relate so much better to the Disney side of your trip! Which makes it even more exciting to see you finally on Disney property.

AoA lobby looks like a lot of fun - but even better decorated for the holidays. :)

It's good to know that paper FP were still available. SE is a great way to start your Epcot day.

Yay! You've arrived on Disney property!

We toure Art of Animation this past trip and it was so cute. However, I didn't like the walk alllll the way down to the Little Mermaid section. I don't know why it seemed like it was so far away but it did. Oh wait, maybe it was because it was blistering hot and we had a 79 year old grandma in tow. :rotfl:
:cool1:
I must be the only alive who did not think the walk to LM was long. I know Vinny didn't either but not sure of Renee.
That could have been the reason why. :lmao: :thumbsup2

I was wondering where you have been.
Yep that is what she was doing. I thought you do that home. :lmao:
I think the CM was getting annoyed with her.

Thank you. No you cannot. It is a bad way of doing it I feel.

If I was to stay in a suite it would be Lion King. One of my all times favorite films.
SE is a must. Vinny likes it cause it is very calm. :rotfl2:

Janet and I did the single rider line for TT and the wait was short !!!!
:thumbsup2

Well we might be back at US for a day. :rolleyes1
It was decorated cute.
They were then this week they end it at DHS and Epcot so no more anywhere. :sad2:
I think we always start there the first time we enter. :lmao:

I love the AoA tree, very retro :goodvibes I love the pic of you and Renee on SE! The fountain has always been one of my faves :thumbsup2

Hi Scott, it took a while but I'm finally all checked in and caught up. Phew.
:welcome:
Glad you're along for the ride. Enjoying your tr also.

I thought it was pretty.
Thanks. Fun ride.
The fountain is my favorite thing at Epcot.

After our journey we walked outside and of course I had to take a pic of my favorite fountain again.

We then decided to go to Club Cool. I could not try the new flavors but they did try them. Here is Renee trying the Beverly.

She did not like it. The comments she was saying had me laughing but I don’t think she will try it again.

Vinny pushing some kid out of the way. LOL. I am only kidding.

Next to it is the new Starbucks so I went in. I got myself a Cool Lime Refresher. YUM!

The total was $3.51

After Renee’s terrible drink and my delicious one a long ride to relax was in order.

I think they need to update this. LOL. Everyone was so much younger than they look now.

I love Jamie Lee. She is in one my all time favorite movies. “Halloween”.

Then I tried to take ride pics and I was not successful.

That was the best one. Sad. I did enjoy it. I have not seen it in years.
Next we went to our next FP+ which was here.

I love short lines.

We did hit a stop here.

As you can see here we were doing the green side.

Soon enough Lt. Dan was giving us our orders.

There he is.

During the ride I took pics or tried to.

That was all I took. I could have sworn I took more but maybe they did not come out and I deleted them. It was a fun ride and Renee said it wasn’t bad. Vinny said he wanted to try the orange side before we left. Do we?

The Gospel group was out. They were good. I listened on another day to them for a little bit.

Then we saw these as we walked.

Of course Pluto wasn’t far behind.

This tree was leaning.

Angel on top.

I think I will stop here.

Up next,

We hit the World Showcase

Fun update!

Love the fountain - we always stop and watch. :thumbsup2

We have not been on Ellen in AGES. Maybe we should when we go in 2015. ;) I was just stunned at how different the US parks look at Christmas - don't get me wrong, there are the trees and decorations, but Christmas and shorts is VERY different from the Christmas in heavy winter coats, boots and wooly hats. :rotfl2:

I love that fountain as well! I love to watch the water dance around. I think so many people miss out on it and don't realize how cool it is!! Oh well, their loss! I will take my time and watch the dancing water!

I can't wait to try the new flavors at Cool Club.

Ooh that fountain is glorious!!!

Hahaha, there is nothing quite like the Beverly experiment.

Yeah, Ellen's Energy Adventure is starting to look a bit, um, dated.

That's some massive crowds watching Joyful. ;) I do know I would have enjoyed it, but I just kept missing them.

Love those dancing fountains :thumbsup2

Can't wait to try new flavors at club cool

Never been on either side of Mission Space. Too afraid....hear it is real tight in there :scared:

Aoa has great Christmas decor. they were putting it up for the first time on our last day there in 2012. I was so happy to have gotten to see it before we left.

I do think the walk to the LM rooms is long, I think because you are outside it seems longer. I would like to stay again, but not until rooms are discounted. I can't pay full price for that and that walk. LOL.

I have not been on the "Ellen" ride in years. I don't think we have ever taken Claire on it and she just turned 9. I am thinking it was the 90's the last time I rode it. I should put it on my list for next trip.

You got great pictures in mission space and look at you taking pictures on the ride. I need to try that. Truth be told I don't ride the orange side and the green is a little ho-hum so I haven't ridden it in several trips.

I love Jamie Lee too and Ellen's Energy Adventure is a great place of a snooze!.

All those Christmas decorations are making me already miss Christmas.

Oh Universe of Energy...it is one of those great attractions that is paused in time. I actually enjoy and and love those big moving seat vehicles. I also love that it is dark enough for some shut eye during the heat of the day!

I've never done Mission Space as I'm pretty claustrophobic. I've thought about trying the green side though...what did you think of it? I'm just worried about getting in there and feeling out of sorts.

I don't think you missed much with the new flavors, I'm still partial to Mezzo Mix and the watermelon one!

I love Epcot at Christmas time...although the leaning trees were so weird, I felt like they were everywhere!

Great Epcot day so far! I love that fountain, I like the one by the entrance, too.

I had heard that there were new flavors at Club cool, do you know what they are? Too bad you couldn't have any but I guess you can't have too much carbonation since your surgery. I bet you were sad to miss Beverly! LOL

I like Mission space, I did the green side in 2011, that was my first time. I was there in 2004 when it was still fairly new but we didn't go because we couldn't get anyone to tell us what exactly it did and in 2010 my DH wouldn't go (in 2011 there were others with us that went with me). I would like to try orange some day.

I like Universe of Energy, too, it is definitely better with Ellen in it but I miss the songs from the original one...
