Mickey, Minions & more. 2 week holiday. Updated 9/14 - FINAL THOUGHTS

Ok. Not sure how I did this. I thought I had subbed to this TR earlier, but apparently I was only seeing it on Facebook! I am loving your pictures! I can't get that fruit plate from Grand Floridian out of my head - it looked wonderful!!! I loved your resort tour - sounds like a great thing to do for a down day. You're not rushing all over, but you're still immersed in Disney.
You sound like Lorrie. :lmao:
Thank you.
That fruit plate was delicious. Way too much.

:welcome: Thank you for reading along.
When is your honeymoon? You will have a blast.

Our honeymoon starts November 1st :) its my husbands very first time going to disney. I think I'm more excited than he is, but he has no idea of the amazingness that he is in for ;) i havent been in 8 years, so I'm thrilled to visit! Keep up the good work, i love reading your posts
That is exciting. That is a long time to be away from the world so it will definitely be exciting for both of you. If you do a report put a link or pm me so I can follow along.

Oh my goodness Scott, you look AMAZING! Again I must say you are an inspiration and I'm so proud of you.

Your Italy, Paris and London trip sounds fantastic. Wish I could fit in your luggage.
Thank you.
:lmao: Com eon you can fit.

Wow, you looked great!!!! Keep it up :)

Your itinerary looks awesome. I can't wait til you get back and we get to hear all about it :goodvibes
Thank you.
I am excited.

Looking Good Scotty"
Sorry for asking, or if it was explained, but why are you not going to Disney Paris."
Thank you.
I have been there before and Harry Potter tour is something I really want to do. DLP is nothing like WDW.

After my monorail ride I was staying at Epcot.

Hi me.

Lovely Disney flowers.

Monorail.

The water looks a little dirty.

Then I came to Norway and saw the church had some Frozen stuff that inspired the movie so I went inside to look.

I will let the photos speak for themselves as I have no clue. LOL.

Then I went outside. It was a little crowded in there and the displays were not too many.

Meanwhile back at Hollywood Studios….
The two of them had lunch at ABC Commissary. They both had.
Asian Salad - with chicken $10.19
Total = $21.71
No photos were taken.

Now back to Epcot…
I continued walking. Soon I was in China.

Then I was in Italy. I love how you can travel the world so fast.

Such a lovely sight.

I knew Vinny & Renee had eaten so I went here for my lunch.

I was in the mood for.

Smoky Mountain Barbecued Pork Sandwich - with served with cole slaw or fries $9.29

I took the bread off and ate half the rest. It was really good.
Total = $9.58

After my very good lunch I walked it off. LOL. Soon I was passing Japan.

Then like magic I was in Morocco.

They make me so nervous watching them.

Then I walked over the bridge towards the UK.

Then I text Vinny to see where he was as we had plans. I think Renee went back to the room or DTD to shop.

Up next,

A first for us. Let’s go to a Merry Mixer

As always.....great WS pictures :goodvibes And I love the itinerary with the links for Europe!!! You'll be getting your sexy on in Italy before you know it Scott:cool1:

Great pictures! Apparently, I am in the minority. I thought Frozen was only meh. Not bad, but not good either. Certainly not worth all the hype it gets...

First off, looking good in the before and after pictures! :thumbsup2

Your trip itinerary sounds fabulous. I hadn't realized that you would be gone so long. You lucky guy you!

I have a confession to make...I haven't seen Frozen. Can you believe it? It's been a while since we've stopped in the American restaurant for lunch but your pork sandwich is making me rethink that decision.

You will love the Harry Potter Tour.
My dd was an ambassador in highschool and traveled to England/Scotland.
She told me she and the rest of her friends were bored and she wasn't taking any pictures-go figure.
But when they took the tour, she took a godzillion pics.:lmao:
She still talks about the tour and she started reading all the books again. She says it is so cool to put the places she saw with the book. She said the train station/platform was the best.

Ya know, I don't get the Frozen hype, maybe it is because I don't have small kids or grandkids. There is no way, I would stand in line 4 hours to see Elsa and whom ever. There are so many different character at WDW. I saw a TR, where a mom dressed her dd's up as Cinderella step-sisters and took them over to The Grand Floridian. They had a ton of interaction with the step sisters and I thought, how imaginative, the mom got some awesome pictures that were not candid. The step-sisters were probably so happy to see little girls dressed up like them, it probably made their whole day.

I love that picture through the Mickey Head on the railing.

I have to say I'm a bit surprised that Vinny and Renee stopped and got photopass pictures without you there to direct them. ;)

Great pictures as you walked the World Showcase. We love Liberty Inn; it gets a lot of bad press, but we've yet to have a bad meal there.

Those guys on those chairs make me extremely nervous!

You are looking so good. I need to really get motivated and lose some of my fluff. ...as I sit here in shorts that are way tighter than they should be.

I love the pics around the world showcase.

Interesting to see the inspiration pieces for Frozen

Truthfully, that movie did nothing for me. However, I did love the music. :goodvibes

What great tour plans for Europe! I'm so envious.

Glad you stayed in Epcot. I love the World Showcase and the various countries. Looks like you had a great time in Norway.

:rotfl2: I doubt that.

I love the music. The movie was good but I do love the soundtrack. I do not get the lines at WDW for Anna & Elsa.

16 days. I wish it was here already but not really being I want to drop another 20 lbs.
A lot have not seen it. It is on Starz this month so I caught it there last night.
That sandwich was so good. You should stop by again. I will be by your tr soon to catch up, probably Sunday.

Looking good!!! :cool1:

Your trip plans sound wonderful!!! :thumbsup2

:rotfl2: He knows what he is doing there in the world now. I am upset there were no regular pics.
I have always had a good meal there but Vinny did once but he misread the menu (though he says he did not but really he did).
me too. I always looks for wires somewhere. :rotfl2:

me too. The movie was ok. I hope Once Upon a Time does a good job.

Thank you. I cannot wait.
I love walking around there. I did.

I had text Vinny to see where he was and soon enough we were together again. We got to the place where the DVC Merry Mixer is held early and I am glad we did. Here is the gate where we lined up.

We were about number 5 or 6 on line so all was good but we did have to wait.

Here is Vinny. Looks like a deer caught in the headlights. LOl.

Then we were allowed inside. As we walked down the path they had snow falling. I hope you can see it in the pic.

In we go.

You can see the snow in this pic.

Mr & Mrs. Claus welcomed us in but my photo is really bad.

Looking at the space. It was a big place inside.

The stage where the MC was and he did kid games here.

Here are the crowds. They were behind us to.

Located behind us was where you could get hot cocoa, water and cookies. Then further back along the wall was the store to but stuff.

Here is the cookie I got. I do not think I ate it.

We did not stay very long. Basically saw what it was all about and then left.

As we were leaving we got this as a gift. 2013 ornament. The only reason I wanted to go. LOL.

Here is the snow as it landed on me.

After this we were heading back to the resort. Along the way we saw.

Then we were getting on here.

Vinny relaxing heading “home”.

Then we went back and swam a bit then we headed back out for dinner.

Up next,

Dinner

Haha, so funny that I was taking pictures of the very same thing as you guys were entering the Merry Mixer. I must have just missed seeing you.

So cool to now see inside. It does look super nice. And what a great memento ornament too.

Nice souvenir.
Love the snow pictures.

Hope dinner is somewhere nice.
I likey. LOL
it was cool the snow they had going.
it will be.
