I need to lift my spirits and get excited about something!

What is the Mickey meet like! How bad is the wait? Is it as bad as the princesses?

Was up at 45 mins today around 1pm - PP was at 60 mins which I didn't think was too bad :)

Hopefully end of sept it will be quieter and even better x

I've seen between 30 and 45 minutes, with the 45 being on Bastille Day.

It's nicely done. With the cartoons it probably offers more distraction for kids too than PP where they mostly only see the walls.

we always meet mickey in toon studios grab a spot around 10 to 10.15 im sure he was out at 10.30 hardly a queue

Thanks!

I know he is easier to meet in studios and even at cafe mickeys but I would love to see the new place x

If you haven't been before I'd personally say it's worth queueing once to see the new place for sure.

Yeah I agree! Is the interaction good in there or is it quick? DD loves Mickey mouse club house she can say Minnie but also calls Mickey Minnie lol!

Is he in there alone or does appear now and again with him?

Its definitely worth doing this meet n greet for the location alone, its so well done. Also, when we were there in June the meet n greet was open well after the posted times on the schedule (ie we went in at around 8pm when it was supposed to close at 7pm). We only waited 15 minutes. The queueing area is beautiful, they show cartoons on the big screen there. Then the meet area itself is also fab. Its only Mickey and his CM and the official photographer there, with you :goodvibes. After we'd had our photo taken with Mickey, I asked the CM if I could take some photos of the props in the area, and Mickey jumped in a couple of the photos for me and was pointing out his stuff :rotfl:.

It was a real high of our trip, and my DD doesn't really bother about the characters anymore :).

I love that you could take time to look at the props I watched a YouTube video about the one in WDW where they have the sorcerers hat, a magic ball, a tree (plant) and castle ornament to represent the four parks love Disney touches

I've posted a handful of photos in my trip report.

Regarding interaction I can only second what Elaine is saying.

They take great care there that you have a "private" moment with Mickey. You're coming in around a corner and all others are kept back there. Kids trying to catch a glimpse will be sent back and that.

Sounds really good! Can't wait to see him now :) with DD dressed as Minnie :)
