Mickey Ice Cream

I can remember years ago getting ice cream from little carts in the MK that was shaped like Mickey's head. Basically, it was vanilla ice cream with chocolate on the outside, almost like a Revello bar. What are/were these called and where can I get them?

You can get them at any ice cream cart at any park. I don't know what their official name is, but those here on these boards just call them "Mickey Bars". They are delicious!

I believe they're called Mickey premium ice cream bars. Yummy!

Mickey (Premium) Bars are available all over all the Parks (and in most Resorts.)

They are so good that I actually list different times to stop for "Mickey Bars" AND "Dole Whips" (NOT at the SAME TIME) on my WDW Itineraries along with my Priority Seating times.

I'm not THAT "type-A" that I must "list all snacks"... It just that I don't want to forget to have these treats... just not right before we go to say, Ohana for dinner!
(We couldn't MOVE if we had BOTH too close together!)

They had a segment of the show Unwrapped on the Food Channel.

The Mickey Bars are Hagen Daz icecream with a Dove chocolate coating. Does it get any better???!!!.

I remember...about a hundred years ago...the Mickey ice creams were chocolate coated on the ears only...with a Mickey face.....those were good too!

I was SO GOOD before my honeymoon (you know - had to fit into the big white dress and all) that I just kept DREAMING about mickey heads.

I must have had like 4 of them in the 12 days we were there!

They are available on Disney Cruise Line, also...and you can have all you want and not pay for them!!! Oh, my!! In 2000, they had a special Mickey (I think it was a Minnie) bar that had a ribbon of caramel running thru it...
talk about good!! Mickey, if you're listening, bring back the Minnie!!!

Just wanted to add that the DCL ones are BIGGER and free. All the reason one would need to take a cruise!

Thirty years ago we were on such a tight budget my parents didn't buy them for us.

Now I have to get at least one Mickey bar each trip for me and the kids.
