Mickey Head

Hi, hope its ok to post here!

My DD is 16 and has special needs. She loves Disney! She enjoys being able to go on rides and the bus/monorail/boats are great!

Tonight she was sorting change. She moved the dimes and was so excited! She yelled "hey , look a Mickey Mouse head" Sure enough the dimes looked like a Mickey head! It was so funny and so cute! Her vision is impaired but she could see that!

Makes the vacation so worth it! Just wanted to share!

It was a cute moment in time. She has a learning disability as well, has had 4 brain surgeries in her life. In 2007 placed on life support. So, going to Disney means alot to our family , a chance to be a family and have fun!

Forgot to mention she is in a wheelchair full time. She has spina-bifida, hyrocephlaus, seizures, asthma and vision impairment. A long list but a true happy girl!
Loves everything Disney! Disney is wonderful to accomadate her needs. We are staying at the WL this year for the 1st time!

I'm happy taht you and your family are getting to do a "normal" family thing. Our son has epilepsy, asthma, allergies, immuno disorder and the list gos on and on. We too have done many operations and logged many hospital hours so I can 100% understand the joy of being out of doctors offices and the like and just being a family. I hope that you have a great time and make many memories. We always come back with so many photos and videos taht it takes us months to get it all strait, but it sure is fun to relive.
