I have no idea where to go with this one so I figured I would give this very helpful community a shot.

We are having a pool put in and I would like to put a hidden Mickey somewhere in the pool (obviously somewhere that you can't notice it). After talking to the PebbleTec guy he said it would have to be a "Mosaic Tile" of some sort.

So I turn to you all. Does anyone know where I would be able to find a mosaic Mickey head tile? I am looking for it to be black and maybe an inch or two in size.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

I would think they could "make" it out of black tile?

You may have to get creative with this.

I googled "Mickey Mouse head shaped bathroom tile" and came up with nothing.

However, there were some other things that might be able to be inset into the pool wall, such as shower curtain holder (a MM head with the hook coming out the back...snap off the hook and perhaps it can be inset), a Mickey Mouse head shaped dish with cover...I'm thinking you could use the cover as your tile.

You could also take 3 round black tiles...2 smaller and one larger...and make the head that way. Maybe go to a tile store and see if they have 2 tiles that are 1" for the ears and 1 tile that is 2" for the head. If black doesn't go with the color of your pool use another color round tile.

I know someone who did this in their pool. She has several of them on the steps.

We looked into this for the shower in our bathroom but didn't do it. We did put a hidden Mickey in our stacked stone in 2 of our columns and one in the foundation.

No one notices unless they are looking and one is quite large. We did have a delivery guy notice the one in the foundation when he pulled in the driveway. He was a Disneynut who had done the CP so he was "one of us." lol

Good luck. :) I have enough hidden Mickey's around the outside of my house that I can have kids do a scavenger hunt. I have a little girl who comes to the house for haircuts and every month she asks, "Miss Brenda, can we go hunt Mickey's?" Makes my heart melt. :)
