Are we bragging here or offering these ears for trade?

Miakoda=does not have ears and wants some real bad especially gold but black will do!

I must be missing something - they are both found in the same place (WDW or DLR) and the black are free while the gold are not. That would make the gold worth more in my opinion. I don't do much trading, but have always heard that the gold were worth more also.

...My prediction is that when the 50th anniversary is over (in about 6 months), the gold ears won't be available any more. The black ears will still be available with a park character. At that point the gold ears (in my opinion) will become more rare than black.

You are taking a lot for granted in your predictions and opinions. Please let me throw out some alternate predictions and opinions.

First: VMK will continue past the celebration. I give this a good chance.

Second: That VMK will continue as a free service. I do not give this more than a 50/50 chance. You may wonder how that is a factor and I will give my prediction. If VMK goes to a pay service, we are given any warning of this, and the same characters already created will be carried forward; a lot of people will be leaving VMK (myself included). Once this happens I will give everything tradable I own to someone who will be staying on the paid service. This will create a HUGE surplus of items that will drive value down drastically.

Third: The end of the celebration will stop the distribution of the gold ears. I doubt that will be true unless all series 1 gold ears cards are gone (not likely) and gold ears cards are not included in series 2 cards (more likely).

Sorry, I already got both of the ears. (I mean all FOUR ears, LOL).

I got the helmet at the tommorrow land store under specials (2000 credits!) If you can't afford that and have something rare and good, like a crown or other item, make me an offer on a helmet and I will get one for ya.
