My dd saw a picture on one of the DIS boards that had an American Girl doll wearing a mickey ears hat. Now she really wants one for her AG doll. Anyone know where to find them? Are they at some store in WDW?

Years ago the Disney Stores and the Cataloge used to sell their version of American Girl looking dolls, you now the 18 inch size. I think it was about 4-5 years ago. One of them came with Mickey ears on her. I don't think they are available anymore. I might be remembering wrong but I think the doll that came with the ears was named Mindy.

I would check ebay for them, thats probably your best bet.

Disney does carry a doll in their resorts and in World of Disney in NYC that is *similar* to the AG dolls. My Disney Girl, I believe is her name...
Her clothes fit the AG dolls!

My oldest DD has Kit and Kit has an Ariel costume ;)

Cool, thanks! Ever seen them in the parks?

Oh yes! My daughters have the disney version of the American Girl Doll. We bought ours at Epcot in the German Pavilion. They have a store that is very similar to an American Girl store. (Although you won't be able to tell it's a "doll store" until you step inside.) And yes, you can buy a Minnie Dress for your doll, as well as a Minnie Ears Hat.

I'm pretty sure the doll and outfit together were close to $100.

You'll love your new doll.

This is the My Disney Girl doll.
This page shows a shop at Disneyland , but the dolls and the set up in the last few pictures (right above where it says "The biggest draw of this shop is the Engel-Puppen of Germany collection" are similar at Germany in Epcot. (The dolls can be made to order at times by a person in the shop. Those dolls are between $120 and 200, depending on what you choose for the costume). As you face into Germany, the store is the last store on the right side of the street.

So if I were to call that number you call to buy anything you have seen in Disneyworld(don't know the name of it)--I could buy that outfit and Mickey ears? I heard you have to buy the doll to get the ears.

We bought the dolls about 2 weeks ago for my DDs 2and 5. I bought them at Once Upon a Toy in DTD. They had to get the Cinderella outfits for their dolls too. I think the dolls were $45 each and the outfits were $25. The dolls came in Disney themed clothing and were wearing Mouse ears. I don't remember seeing that outfit for sale in the store, but the Minnie dress should have Mouse Ears. My gils love their dolls and we have some really cute photos of them dressed as Cinderella with their matching dolls at 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella.

Sorry for the wrong info. It looks like you can still get them. I guess its just the Disney Stores and Catalog that don't sell them anymore. They were cute, I am glad to hear they are still available. :earsgirl:

Be warned that the DG doll shoes don't fit AG dolls ... AG's feet are wider. And clothes are a bit snug too ... at least that's my experience with the Minnie, Ariel and Cinderella outfits.

We just got DD a Minnie outfit to fit her AG doll, we bought it at the Contemporary. The Disney Girl dolls come with the Minnie ears on but I did not see the ears or that outfit sold separately. The ears that come with the Minnie outfit are on a headband, just like the ones you can buy to go with the costume. The price was $25, and you get the dress, panties, socks, shoes, brush, comb, mirror, purse, and the ears headband.

Hope that helps!

I looked all over WDW { May 2005} for the same ears and the only thing we found was a Minnie Mouse costume for an american girl that came with the ears. The only place I found it was at "ONCE UPON A TOY" at Downtown Disney. The costume is adorable!!! It was 25.00 + tax. You can request this item mail order, before your trip if you would like if you can call WDW for mail order with the store name and the discription of the item at 407-363-6200. I hope this helps! ::MinnieMo

I looked for the Minnie outfit everywhere on our May 2005 trip too. I knew it had to be out there somewhere because it was pictured on the back of all the other outfits. I'll be sure to look for it again in Sept. when we go. The outfit looks so cute.

We got our DD "My Disney Doll" in Oct 2002, her hair has gotten pretty ratty over the years, but she still loves her, we just bought her an AG doll so we'll be purchasing some new outfits for her I'm sure, I'll have to have DD try Snow White on her AG doll to see if it does fit, thanks for the tip

I pinned on pinterest how to make them. I haven't done it yet, but my dd's AG doll goes with us to Disney. After all Bree, is a member of our family too. ;)
