Mickey Ears & Autograph Book Delivered to Resort??!!

2 years ago when I booked my first WDW trip on their website, I receive an email a few weeks later offering the opportunity to purchase some items and have them waiting for us upon arrival in our room. I ordered an autograph book w/pen, mickey ears, battery operated fans and a bunch of snacks. Well, there they were...in our room after we checked in! How fabulous. Well, last year, I booked our 2nd vacation on the website, but never got that email...so no preorder of stuff. I remember doing a kind of a plain generic search on the website looking for links, but no luck. Does this service still exist? Not the Disney florist, I saw that on the Disney Moms Panel. Help please!

I have never seen this or heard of it... but something neat to do, especially if you have kids!

I know exactly what you are talking about. We got that offer also. To the best of my recollection that was part of their Preschoolers EMH promotion and was only offered in conjunction with that marketing blitz. They were trying to increase attendance by families with preschool age children. I am pretty sure it was a limited time thing and I haven't seen anything where they have offered it again.

Unfortunately as far as I know your only options at this point are the Disney Florist or an offsite company that can deliver to the front desk, but not to the room. If you are staying concierge they may be able to help you out but otherwise you may just have to be "sneaky"!

I would love to have personalized mickey ears waiting for ds and dn, just like jon&kate+8. that would be a cool service to bring back!!

You might want to check out this site: http://www.peggyssweetsandmore.com/index.htm She comes highly recommended. I have never used her services personally but I hear she does amazing baskets. I think most times it is difficult for them to be in the room because of the way Disney assigns the rooms. She can leave them at the front desk though and they will be presented there.

I have done my own gift bags myself before and just snuck them to the Front Desk (while DH took the kids to tour the resort and I needed time to "unpack" ) I arranged with the desk staff to call the room or I would just find the family and say that they had called and we needed to go up front for a delivery --acting completely clueless (I am really good at that!)

When we got to the desk the CM's have been great about telling my kids that Mickey and Minnie left them a gift and handing them their bags. My kids found this to be just as magical as something left in the room. I think having the CM play along really helped enhance the magic.

I wanted to do the mickey ears too for a surprise for my kids. I emailed Disney Florist and they do that service, it's $9 ears $ 9 personlized and delivery of $9 and wrap for $3.50. I can have it in the room or given to them at check-in. Hope this helps.

I am actually going through another company that does complete baskets or anything that you actually want.. You can tell her every detail.. she will tell you ahead of time the price, she will make the basket, take a picture of it for you and then you send payment.. She will deliver to Resort and she states that depending on what time you check in the hotel staffs usually have it waiting in your room when you arrive..
I have seen her name come up on quite a few boards and she comes high recommended as well.. memoriesbybetsy.com

Sorry forgot to add the www.memoriesbybetsy.com this should work now.. I just ordered my basket.. What I LOVE about Betsy is that you can ask for anything.. If they have it at Disney she will include it.. You can go from a little thing to a gigantic expensive basket..
For my DS I am having it come from Mickey.. He will get a stuffed Mickey.. A first trip to Disney Pin, an autograph book and pen, a lanyard with another pin a spray fan.. Everything that I wanted..
