What I thought would be easy to find - a decorating idea for mickey mouse cupcakes was not. Anyone have any ideas, only thing I can think of is thin mints for ears.

you can try Nilla wafers (somepeople don't like mints.) The other thing is to simply "pipe" in the Mickey outline in black on top of your frosting.
M&M's or skittles can be used in the three circular mickey head outline.
I'm sure there are others, but these are the ones I've done.
Have fun!

Just an idea, but what about a mini Reece's cup for the big circle and either M&Ms or thin mints for the small circles. Haven't tried it, so I don't know if the proporations are close enough to work...

Maybe use Junior Mints.... regular size oreos and the mini oreos for the ears..... use little round candies to form an outline of mickey.... round circles of frosting ....

How about chocolate icing and then use marshmallows for the shape of the head. Use mini marshmallows for the ears and cut a big marshmallow for the face part so it won't be thicker than the minis.

Try oreo cookies cut in half mini m&ms for the eyes and a piece of a cherry for the nose. One of our local restaurants makes a mouse ice cream sundae using these. It's really cute.
