Mickey Cooler

Last year, I bought the Mickey soft-sided cooler on wheels from DisneyDirect.com. Has anyone ever taken this cooler on as a carry on? It measures slightly larger than what DCL says is carry-on size.

Any help would be appreciated?

If I am understanding the one you mean, we had someone in our group us it for a carry on. It didn't seem all that big to me so maybe I am not thinking of the right one.

It is maroon with white piping and zippered pocket(s) in front.

I think I have the one you are talking about. I used it as my carry-on for my recent cruise. BE AWARE that it does need to lean on its "back" instead of the wheels for it to travel through the x-ray machine. Also, NO LOOSE ICE.......they would be quit unpleased if your carryon leaked all over their equipment and the people behind you might clobber you. I didn't have any ice, just my usual carryon stuff and some bottles of water. The cooler rolls well, but the handle "releases" to collapse too easily for my taste....but it served its purpose for this trip and will for many to come I am sure.

The springy cords on top were great for toting the towels to castaway cay and I put all of my other stuff inside (water, sunscreen, spritzer, etc.)

The one have is a rusty red color and has some gold and gray on it. It comes out in the Disney Direct Catalog in the fall for "tailgating" with the stadium blankets, seats, jackets.

Hi Everybody, I have been unable to find this cooler. I have read that many used it to take their drinks on board. We have been looking on disneydirect and I must be looking at the wrong thing....Please someone send me in the right direction.

I just looked for that cooler on disneydirect last night. I couldn't find it either. What dimensions will DCL accept for a roll on softsided cooler. I'm not sure where to find that info. I know it needs to be able to fit through the x-ray -- but I'm not sure what those measurements would be.

Does anyone know?

My mom has this one and used it as a carryon for our trip last October. She didn't put drinks in it for the plane, but did use it as a cooler once we got to WDW.

The sku # is 56554-but it is sold out. They have a new one now 57079. They are calling it a beach cooler now.
