Mickey Call - are they doing it this year

I just called this morning to have Mickey phone us. I called at 10:00 am and Mickey called at 10:40. Worked like a charm. I also sent one to our friends who are going with us for their first trip. Merry Christmas everyone!

i set it up last night. Call came at 8:20, pressed 2 and disconnected.
I immediately set up another one for 9:20 - 9am was filled.
A few minutes later, I got another call. This time it worked.
Then at 9:20 I got the call again for the second time I requested one.
It worked.
Kids were excited. Already got the surprise that we were going on Monday via a text message on DD's new cell phone! The little one was talking to Mickey during the recording, wishing him a Merry Christmas and telling him we would see him very soon. Too cute!!!!!!!

It worked for us the 4th time. The first 2 we missed it, the 3rd we pushed 2 and nothing happened, but the 4th it finally worked! My kids were really excited to hear "Mickey's voice" !!

It also needed to be booked after Nov. 28.

Although it said that on the page where you book the call, that isn't the case. We booked our trip a long time ago and I signed up anyway, this morning we received not one, not two but three calls from Mickey.

We received the call twice this morning and I followed the instructions and when I press 2 it disconnects. What's up? Is everyone having the same problem? Merry Christmas everyone!

We pressed 2 and had no problems.

Sounds like us. DH threatened to call the police on Mickey for harassment. I only booked it once but we got 3 calls.

I actually forgot that I had this planned. As we were sitting down for breakfast, the phone rang and I looked at the Caller ID. It was a toll-free number. We all got a little upset, wondering what telemarketer would have the gall to call people on Christmas Day. We didn't answer it. A few minutes later a call came in from the same number. DH picked it up to give the caller a piece of his mind, only to find that it was Mickey Mouse!! So we all gathered around on speakerphone and listened. A couple of hours later, we get the same call again. So we gathered around and listened again.

As a joke, I just went and signed up for it again for 20 minutes from now. We'll see if we get a call again and if Mickey will soon be up on stalking charges.

We had problems, too! We had planned to wait, let the kids hear the Mickey call and go nuts, then give them their last gifts (countdown calendar, Birnbaum's Disney for Kids, other small items), but when we pushed "2" it hung up! They had already heard the lady say she was from Disney, so we just went ahead and gave them the gifts. . .then came the second call that worked!! So, it took a little punch from the surprise, but they still loved it. My DD's eyes were big as saucers!

We missed this also. We were opening gifts when the first call came and I was soooo happy!! But, when I pressed 2, nothing happened. Such a bummer. They did try to call 3 more times today (!) but the were after 12 and we were not at home by that point. Ah well!

You might still be able to go on the website and order it again. It's worth a shot. I did that a couple of hours ago to hear Mickey one last time.

I was so excited since I just discovered this on the 23rd. Mickey called 3x since we missed the first two He finally got us & no problems when pressing 2. My ds got on there but he didn't mention the "see you soon" part. We haven't told him but maybe he's just thinking of the typical sign-off "see ya real soon"

DoodlesMom, in the message, Mickey did specifically mention that you are coming to Walt Disney World soon and that he hopes to get a chance to greet you and your family there. (Don't quote those words. After hearing it the third time though, I got the jist. )

We have two reservations for adjoing rooms and got 9 calls all together. Go figure. The first one didn't work but after three everyone was tired of hearing Mickey call
