Mickey Backyard Bque

Just wondering if anyone has been to Mickey's backyard bque and how it was? We are going to DW in OCt and thought this might be a fun first night activity. Thanks for any info.

Is this at the Wilderness lodge?

We were there in June 04. It is held in a pavilion. The food was good, hamburgers, corn on the cob, ribs. Watermelon for dessert. The show was neat the characters came out to dance and the kids(of all ages) were invited up to dance with the host.

The only downside was, the night we were there it poured rain. The water was dripping off the roof of the pavilion and blowing in the sides, there was a small river running around the perimeter. It made getting to the bathrooms a little wet!

Not a bad experience, all in all.

We did not enjoy it at all. The food was cold (and we were about half way back in the line) and it was just a bunch of singing and line dancing. One of the very few things we will never do again at the resort.
